sends shivers down my back. The vocal phrasing across the guitar strum pattern puts it in a class with the best, It's true Danielle's voice has more subtlety but it needs that strong line from Gia to let you hear the contrast.
You two are amazing. I was never was a huge Springsteen fan, but your cover changed my mind and made me see the lyrical genius. Thanks for your art. This was my first song I listened from Daniela. Years after, I've been still listening to it. This girl has just an unique voice, and believe me or not , but I'm stressed by stuff of life, one or two songs calm me down much better than any other poison pills the doc want me to get... Love you my dear Daniela. Your our angel in this rough and rude world.

Derek Wildash if by magic you mean singing at a whisper because you have a weak voice and amplifying the cardi Mic to one hundred, something no real singer does, then having another better vocalist sing behind you because you cannot play and sing at the same time profficiently then yes this is magic.

I've watched this a few times now. Daniella has a delicate huskiness to her voice that really gives the song a certain sincerity. They harmonize so well together though. Beautiful.

It's a good version but temper trap blows this out of the water . In my opinion of course..
After listening to this cover, I cannot seems to get satisfied with most other artists. I mean, that level of sublime voice, only a few people could achieve that effect. It's otherworldly, and I have never heard such a sensitive frequency.

They are great singers but the lyrics are what makes this deep and sad.
Think about it,..if they were humming it,...you would think it was a happy song.
Original song is not sang in a pretty voice and you can't even clearly understand the lyrics.
If Bruce had a great singing voice and slowed it down a tad, played an acoustic guitar with no other accompanied instruments, it would have the same effect.
Its the lyrics, it is a well written song.

firstly i come across daniela and after a long while listening her songs, i got to know gia. both of them good musicians and way better than the other pop singers. firstly i liked the voice and image of daniela but after recognizing gia, i couldnt take my eyes o.o it s likely i fell in love with her!!

However, given our scared, insecure lives, this is often easier said than done. Sometimes, we wish we'd meet a stranger who'd be able to both lead and follow, fleeting as that may be. Dude writing the song is just putting himself out there, in the most defiantly innocent way possible.

@@celestineernest1087 There is absolutely a sexual/ erotic connotation, but coupled with the music and the way it's sung, it also touches upon loneliness and longing in a more profound sense. It's what makes Springsteen so special: writing a fun, mischievous song with so much darkness simmering under the surface, yet having it be so relatable and immediately likable.
I am absolutely obsessed with this cover, I can't get enough of this song. You both have absolutely beautiful voices.
