bi weekly customers are always the most difficult to deal with. my favorite saying from them is "can you lower the deck next time you come". I have become so bold with my bi weekly customers over the years. I just tell it like it is.
They tend to be the cheapest and always complain. Then they decided they will pay the bill when they see fit. This year I'm cutting those people off. Nothing but stress and lack of respect !
In terms of some yards it's doable, but you're just ducking yourself if you are a yes man for clients like that. If it's going to be biweekly it's going to be on my terms not theirs. Trust is the biggest thing with lawn care. Can you trust me to show up anytime/whenever it needs it to keep it looking pristine all the time? If not that's where our relationship ends. I am capable of doing what it takes quickly and efficiently to get anyone's yard looking perfect, not missing a single blade. But if people can't trust my judgement on when the yard needs to be cut then we have no business going any further.
No need too . It’s what it is they want weekly maintenance results and want to pay half the price I charge only 10$ less for what it would be in total every 2 weeks For clients that want every 2 weeks Take it or leave it . I’ll see you sweating out there sooner then later
I did start mowing the wrong lawn in a neighborhood where every single property looks EXACTLY the same, and then I saw people I didn't recognize and then realized what happened
I'm finally to the point in my business I can tell them to kick rocks. If you want it to look good on a biweekly you are going to pay for a triple cut. So a weekly $40 cut is $60 biweekly. Still save the client $ and you get yours too !
It’s not that lawn care employees are hard to find. Every employer in every aspect is having a very hard time finding people and each generation is getting worse. I remember my dad talking about it when he was a superintendent for a large construction company during the 80’s.
If your working them 12 hrs/day, 5days/week.. $1000 is not enough. Especially if your just having them hold a trimmer all day. Amazon pays that to just sit in a van and deliver packages. I’m sorry, but thats the reality of it. And Amazon is taking ALL the labor.
I'm a sole operator and I'm doing $5400 a month with 53 properties and that's just wed, Thursday and Friday. Took years to get to this point and it's been worth every minute of it !
@@justinjones1984 dude that’s $25 a house on average. You aren’t charging right. I have more than 54 clients but I can tell you that for about 22 of them, the combine for about $4000 a month. So you need to start upping your rates man.
@@michaellarrick8881 I don’t think thats right bro. He didn’t state it but I’m assuming his yards are bi-weekly with maybe a few weekly. His avg would be around $40-$50

Back in the 90s when I had my landscaping business my crew was known for cutting the wrong lawns, it was usually the house next door they were supposed to do, but there were also clean ups at the wrong houses and plowing the wrong driveways.
