I see where this video was posted 4 months ago. The Queets has been closed to fishing for steelhead the past three seasons. Probably shouldn’t get people’s hopes up.
One time about 22 years ago richie loaned me a Remington 7MM MAGNUM and I put this old red field scope on it and shot this monster 6 point on the HOHRIVER , damn nice heard of Elk must of seen 14 bulls , 4 of which were really nice big 5x5 s and of course that big 6 point herd bull😂😂😂😂 totally awesome , tons of spikes and only few rag 4 points 😂😂😂😂😂totally awesome days
So ... The bead pulls out and the hook goes in or does the line slide through the bead to set the hook. Really I'm not the dumb .. Just trying to understand the mechanics ... !!!
@@robertbennett6418at 1:58 you can see the black stopper he has placed at a knot junction. These stoppers can be placed either at a knot to help prevent slipping or along the leader where they’ll inevitably slip. Sometimes it slips to the hook but most of the time it stays put.

Nice
Maybe I'm missing something but how does the fish get hooked when it bites the bead and not the bare hook. Help me out here.
When you set the hook the hook slides into the mouth. It helps prevent deep hooking and fools the fish.
