      I love sharing what I know with others, and I do things because it gives pleasure.
      Being criticized is part of the game when one goes into the public domain.
      I always take the good with the bad. Even if you're right, there'll always be someone who'll criticized what you do. Might as well do what makes you happy. 🥰

    Loving it, Liz. My ears pricked up at the kiwiberry. because of disease kiwifruit disappeared from the market place. I last saw a kiwiberry a number of years ago and thought I would get one soon. I regret my missed opportunity but life goes on. I still love being a kiwi!

      I had a kiwiberry growing in my backyard for a couple of years and even produced fruits for me. Then succulents happened and I got rid of the plant because it was taking the sun away from my succulents. 😅🤣
      Now I'm giving my kiwiberry its own place to run wild. 😊

    I truly feel for you Liz. I have only had one arm to work with since January due to nerve damage and it is so awful and depressing. I don’t know why but watching your videos helps me cope. I know that sounds silly but you truly do help me get through some horrible painful times. I have watched many of your videos over and over and over. Please be careful with your shoulder because if you overwork it you might damage it even more. Stay safe and try to take it easy on yourself and remember that you can’t always get things done the way you would like to but in the end it doesn’t really matter.😊❤😊❤😢😢

    You can’t do everything Liz. You need a break..the plants will be ok. You really need to pack that caravan up and go and find some gold or opals. Loved sharing your breakfast with you and Pedro.❤

      Thanks Siew Lean. After doing this video yesterday, it's like an omen to say to myself to slow down. Shoulders are playing up at the moment. Might have to take it easy with the heavy lifting but the beautiful weather is beckoning.

    You have such a lot on your plate as of now. I turned to succulents after a spinal surgery which made me give up the heavy duty gardening but i cant sleep if i dnt interact with soil n plants n stuff. I hope the shoulder behaves and dsnt trouble u much. And the garden is like a kaleidoscope of colours and plants and so many things happening. Its so beautiful. All your work and love that goes in to it. And appreciate this so much that u take time n make these vdos and they help us and cheer us up so much. Njoy the soan papdi :)). Loved the plectrantus. The sheer variety of succulents you have is amazing. Loved the earth, man and heaven analogy.

    Are you sure that is a plectranthus? I can't find it on google images. They all look to have leafy leaves. The plant you have has tiny leaves like do let tail sedum only pink ones. Would love to get a plant like that.

    • @GrowingSucculentswithLizK

      Another similar looking plant (might also be the same plant) is Plectranthus prostratus. Also known as Tangled Hearts, Pillow Plant, Swedish Ivy, etc.

    What do you use to get rid of fungus gnats? That is safe for succulents

    • @GrowingSucculentswithLizK
      @GrowingSucculentswithLizK  2 роки тому

      I prefer to use a natural method. I find using a layer of small grits of dressing on top of the soil damages the gnats' wings when emerging, preventing them from going back to the same pot and laying their eggs.

      You can sprinkle diatomaceous earth on the top of soil. Also allowing your soil to adequately dry out in between waterings will help to
