- As promised, a flip through of my latest completed random collage Gluebook! I had so much fun with this one, just working randomly, with no set theme, I want to start another immediately!

I'm so glad I found this video again. I'm getting ready to begin a book inspired by this book ... at last.
Awww, that really warms my heart Stacey, have fun! This is definitely one of my favourite Gluebooks. It was just the right size for quick pages. I have a few other notebooks the same size and I will eventually start another, as all my current Gluebooks are larger, and I miss having a smaller one to work in too.
I’m so glad I found your channel. It’s like a breathe of inspiration. As a Floridian there are those damp rid containers I put in my closets. I like how those to help with the moisture. I love your book. I do have a few of my glue books on my channel. I stopped doing them and I totally wanna get back into it. Thanks. Also your view is to die forrrrrrr
Thank you for your kind words! Yes, those containers are good, but we figured this was probably too extreme for those; I’m sure I would have been replacing them every few days, lol. The dehumidifiers have been doing a great job though, well worth the investment. I hope you have jumped back into gluebooking! I’ll be checking out your channel soon, I love gluebooking along with other people! ❤️❤️

LOL, so you’re weird like me? Hehe. I think this one came in blue too. It does have another set of keys, in white if I ever wanted to change them out.

I have never done a glue book-but been thinking about it….I have a scrapbook background…I did not own any glue sticks but soooo many glue types but I have been collecting images and words for months…watching how u put titles on your work was so inspiring-I am gonna start my first book today! Thank you! Loved the walk thru of your book…I am so excited to make a glue book! 💗

Thank you so much! And I dunno, I think I’d still rather deal with our humidity issues than deal with a landlord. That being said, before I was a homeowner I don’t recall having any horrible landlords, I think they were all pretty good, which apparently not the norm now. 😢

Yay!! I’m so excited for you!!! It’s so addicting, and so relaxing. Thank you for your kind words and wishes. We got very lucky and Costco happened to have dehumidifiers on sale this week, so the basement is doing MUCH better.

Love this!! What kind of glue do you use?
Thank you! I use glue sticks for all my gluebooks; they’re quick, make little mess, and clean up easily with baby wipes. For the most part, the cheap dollar store ones work fine for lightweight book and magazine images, although it has been trial and error as to which ones from which dollar store chain works best. Once in a while I have to glue the corner of something back down, but I don’t mind.
For thicker images, like cereal box cardboard or heavier, I use a brand name, regular gluestick, like Elmer’s washable or regular UHU.
Lastly, if I’m making something for someone else, like a journal, not just for me like my Gluebooks are, I use a really good gluestick to glue all images down. Like scotch permanent or Elmer’s crafters. The best glue sticks are really pricey, so I definitely save them for “important” things.
