- I drove 14 hours to go see one of my favorite bands from the early 80’s till now! Queensrÿche played at Feather Falls Casino In Oroville Ca on Sept 2nd 2023! Best seats in the house!!!!!

I love Tate...but laTorre is no slouch in the vocal department.
I did a blues jam there and lots of karoke with Lannett around 2013! Love there food and ipas. They sound incredible as always!

I like the new stuff they’ve done with Todd. Wish he could sound as good live as in the studio and wish they could build their brand again. Sucks to see them in these crappy venues. Tate ruined them with all that crap after Promised Land.
I could agree on some levels but, for them to play these venues gives people more of an intimate experience... I saw them at festivals and etc, This was awesome because it wasn't crazy.

they need a live album with his vocals singing the old stuff and of course the new stuff, which i actually almost like better, old stuff is the classics but the new stuff off the last 4 records just has a heavier sound much more metal, much more my taste

@@SilasoftheLamb Stone is good, but you have to admit the chemistry that Michael and Chris had just isn't there. No one will ever come close to how it used to be, and that's a sad realilty!

Whatever happened to Kim and Dianna Harris their first managers who went out on the limb and helped finance their first eponymous e.p. On 206 records (zip code) in 1983 which shook the foundations of everyone’s speakers and saw them tour America with Twisted Sister on the you can’t stop Rock n Roll tour???????
206 was the phone area code, not zip code. As a side note, I still have my original 206 Records EP from back in the day. Such a great piece of Queensryche history.
Todd could be better if he sang to the crowd, he looks like he is in his own world. It's more than getting the pitch right the delivery gives the right intention to the lyric.

In all fairness, I seen Tate recent show and it was really boring as he was just standing there.. I love Geoff and been a fan since 1982.. Todd is doing an amazing job and we was singing along with him.. Thank you for your comment!

I saw them this year in the Florida Theater in Jacksonville… same venue as where I’ve seen Eric Johnson, Vai, Experience Hendrix, Dream Theater, etc…. Not tiny. A small venue is great for the fans. These guys still have a career. That’s a good thing. 🤘🏼

@@leolion2216 I understand what you are saying for sure. And that's ok. I was there from the beginning in 1981 and pretty much grew up with their music and original members. It just comes a time when we all get older and it's just time to move on and if you want to continue to make music and share that history with our kids and older generation that has never heard of ya, that is totally ok as well and makes me grateful I can share this with people here on youtube and my 10 yr old son. .. :) All good my friend!
I grew up listening to this as well im 34 born in 88 , my daughter loves the music , my mom took me in 94 to see nirvana I was only 6 , she couldn't find a baby sitter, music is part of my life that can't be replaced
@@leolion2216 as if the latter albums spearheaded by Tate resemble anything of the Queensryche you all know and loved. If you're going to say snoozefests like Mindcrime 2, American Soldier and DTC are as authentic as RFO or the original Mindcrime, then screw that! I'd rather have a "cover band" than an "original" being bastardized by Mr. One-Man-Show at this point.

OMG Larry - No disrespect intended but Todd La Torre sings these songs 10x's better than the dude who wrote em! Take a listen to GT live now and then and there is no comparison. La Torre fucking crushes. Cool to see MIke Stone back with the band as well! Sorry you didn't dig it. He has been fronting the act for over a decade and covers their shit like a champ. The Whisper, fuck yeah fellas, bringin it!

@@bartmorrow8289 LaTorre is serviceable, he's not close to being as good as Geoff Tate. Geoff is on top 5 lists of metal singers and prog singers almost without fail. No one is putting Todd on one of those.
