I am playing ark with my friends all the time and i can find the way back to our base everytime because every step i take i make a path in my head like a red thread that i leave behind, and when i need to get back i know exactly where i went and i am able to find back. My friends always call me out for my mapping knowledge too. Everytime we play something with a big map they let me lead the way and say :"dont loose this lil 💩, he knows the way". And afterwards they scream at me and ask me how the hell i know this 🤣 I can totally relate to ninas describtion of lucas brain, mine works like this too.
