However with that said I think I need deliverance my testimony tends to terrify people whenever I've talked about how I was conceived at birth to my whole life of hurt abuse and rejection I'm almost 50 years old have been working on my relationship with Jesus my whole life but at the moment I have felt disconnected from Jesus and it makes me want to cry
I live on social security because I have been told all my life I've got mental issues and I've tried counseling medication I've ever self medicated. I want to quit smoking cigarettes and cannabis but find myself doing it anyway. I have convinced myself that I only use cannabis for helping me sleep. I need help and I know it. Where do I turn when nothing else has worked?

Daniel, I need some advice. I used to pray like this - casting out spirits and prophesying. But somehow, I've become more cautious and not trust that what I'm hearing is from God.
How do I get that child-like trust back??
That feeling is your flesh growing, it starts to rebel.
Try praying to God for strength and power to beat your fleshly desires and thoughts.
A good suggestion would be to join a community, for example your local church or a online group!

I think a part of me has gotten cynical, and I'm having a hard time going back to trust.
Just as hoho said your flesh will try to fight your calling when you come into it. Even Jesus was praying in the garden just before he was captured for the father to take his cup away stating the flesh is weak even if the spirit is willing. But not by his will, the father's will be done. You gotta break that flesh off and hang it up. Listen to God's voice. More often than you may think God is actually waiting on us to do the last thing he asked. Some people just take months or even years to do it. The sooner you do the sooner he can get you to the next step.

@@rebornasdavid I don't know how to trust that the voice I'm hearing is God's.
I had an extended "honeymoon" period of time where I was just devouring everything of God, I was prophesying (correctly), I was casting out demons, and during our ladies' prayer meetings, I was seeing things happening in other locations, bad things that we were able to pray off. Two different times, it saved people's lives. I was like this for over 4 years.
But now I hear nothing. All that feeling went away when I had major surgery. I don't know what happened, but I woke up from anesthesia with zero feeling, zero desire to serve God, etc.
I never did get back to that beginning. I did pray at one point, asking what happened, why I feel lost again.
I did get an answer - "I carried you a long time, because you were a "special needs" child. But now, you must walk. I will walk with you, but you must put in the effort if you are to advance."
So, I'm walking. I am having more and more times of knowing I'm in His presence during prayer. But I miss the way it used to be.

I guess I just don't understand why you have to sit and have a conversation with the demons. Just cast it out by the power/authority of Jesus Christ.
This is something that has bothered me about deliverance ministry. I tend to become cynical. If I go to show my husband someone being delivered, he shuts it down and ignores it because the minister is behaving like he's playing with the demon. He always says "you don't see where Jesus ever did that." I admit that I know almost nothing about it, except Jesus said to cast out devils. I've not experienced this yet.
@@mary6aros well I’ve seen plenty of demons casted out of people growing up in the a Pentecostal church and they never had conversations with the demons. They just casted them out. There’s a cockiness that comes off of Daniel that doesn’t sit well with me when he talks to these demons. I’ve seen other UA-cam deliverance ministries and they don’t do this. I feel like this guy is just doing it for show even if the demons are real.
