That was great! I can't explain exactly what about your style of teaching works for me but I always learn something useful from watching your videos compared to the millions of other guitar tutorials out there.
Any one else listening to Sean’s originals? I got him on Spotify here is a list of my favorite songs Polestar (Acoustic) Andrea singing Buried Wyldfire (Andrea & Sean) Reminder The emyrald stone Nail (great lyrics and guitar solo) Centerpiece (acoustic) Black clouds Moonpool What are yours? Thanks for the great songwriting ✨🙏🏻✨
@@Kuntrolla I'm not stupid. I just didn't follow the message. It started with 'we need triads' and instead of learning where he was going with that, it ended up being something about moving between different chord shapes. If I've missed something, the decent thing to do would be to point it out, rather than just being trolly and rude :D
I think you might be missing a couple of building blocks that will help you understand this video better. One would be what notes make up major and minor chords (just the regular ones, you don’t want to get into 7th or sus chords or different modes yet). The other topic is what chords belong in the key you are playing. Sean does videos on both (so did Marty Music and Justin Guitar, sometimes a couple of different approaches on the same topic is really helpful). I think once you get those concepts down, most of this video will make sense.
@@petebrown8145 Just to be clear: I understand music theory. The video did make sense to me in the way that I understood everything he was saying, but he started out by saying "I am gonna tell you why triads are so important" and then (as it appeared to me at least) he veered into another topic. It's no biggie. I was mostly leaving feedback for Sean :)
Thanks Sean for the quick lesson on triads and inflections, another reason to keep my guitar in my hands.

Very nice little licks and neck progressions, but I'm afraid you lost me along the way with what you were trying to say about triads.
