As for sell by when cheese goes green just cut the green off its perfect underneath how do you think mature cheese is made
My wife and i were born well before sell by dates. We never use them, we look, smell and taste whatever we think might be on the turn ! As an ex coal miner i was taught how to cook and bake from around the age of 8 yr's and was taught to cut mould off cheese, spoon it off the top of jam, cut it off the edges of bread. Even toast bread with spots of mould on the bread ! I love all blue cheese's . At 64 i had a strong stomach , perhaps it was how i was bought up in the 60s ? I can make a tasty snack out of potato peelings, something both my wife and daughter love to munch on. I'll put that down to being baught up in a pit village. Or as my wife says, i wasn't baught up, i was dragged up. Either way , i was taught not to waste food, and to this day , i don't ! As a nutch ex coal miner I'm proud to say ,i can cook, bake, hand and machine sew knit, i even paint my wife and daughters finger and toe nails. As well as have a wood and metal workshop and forge, as well as my sign writing and art studio. I suppose I'm the typical Jack of all trades, master of none , ( born through necessity )!👍🏴😏

Sell by dates are more for the store than the consumer. Best before means the product will be at it's best but can still be eaten . Use by dates are more for fresh food.
@@andrewobrien6671 Years ago we didn't have all these different dates. I think they crept in once most people shopped in supermarkets. I still use my own built in quality control

And I find when going out for a meal most of us will not bother with the desert after. I never bother with desert, would rather have a starter.
Even many British people fail to realise this... in the height of summer you open all your doors and windows as early as possible to let in the cool air. before 9 am when it starts to heat up, you close ALL your windows and doors, and in direct sunlight even close blinds or curtains to keep the heat out and you keep them shut all day. Only opening them after say 7pm when it starts to cool down again.
@@Mark_Bickerton No, that is what you are SUPPOSED to do, what you actually do is think when it isn't hot "ooh look they sell fans here" don't buy one, then in the hot weather sit indoors with windows shut, curtains open, no fan and complaining how hot it is, the day it stops being hot you tell people you are glad it isn't so hot anymore, then the next day you complain it is too cold 🙂👍 that's the British way.
In Northern Ireland and Ireland it’s a customary to smile and say hello or nod and especially in the park when walking the dog. We never eat sell by dates in our house either and most people don’t eat sell by date either.
i open the windows after sundown and keep them open with a fan blowing out the window removing hot air and circulating in cooler air. when i wake up because its getting light, i close the windows to a sliver (enough to let hot air escape) and close both the thermal curtain and the normal curtains to block out the sun. this builds a hotter layer behind the thermal blackout curtain, which the slightly open windows let escape. i prevent the solar heat gain that way. and if there is no wind i just leave the windows more open, because they wont blow the two curtains inside or suck them outside, letting direct sunlight (heat) in. you can actually feel the difference and heat come in when the wind moves the curtains open. thats how i survive heatwaves and summer now.

Health and Well-being is a Human right, for some reason alot of older Americans think its the road to Communism , being Healty and cared for makes you more productive at Work, I've never understood n never will the U.S.A. attitude towards Socialism
we been around to long to acknowledge other peoples existence we are just existing at this point
my mum lived down south my dad north i grew up w both, south england dont mind u smiling there just not used t it as much. but i still act the same down south. u just dont get the same reaction as often.
southerners are naturally more likley t be sus. but they soon get used t it n smile n talk back.

SO easy to just say "bin it..." or "where's the bin?" 😂
Watch even edingers latest video where he talks about tipping
Ahh, this is the girl from Floordah.
Tip in UK means you enjoyed the service.
Americans thinking their refills are free, then having to tip 20% lol
Now I found lately I've been saying garbage not rubbish bin I'm English. Why does there sound like an echo on her side
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Why would you want ice in an already cold Coke? You are just buying water. I want a coke to test like Coke, not watered sown coke.
No bin it
I hate the tipping culture, if i think you deserve it then ill tip but its not my fault you got a crap job talk to your employer.
if uk people had to tip, there would be four restaurants in the country, all in London, serving the rich only. nobody else could afford to eat out.
Stop saying like all the time.
Im from Leeds West Yorkshire and I smile at anyone I walk past and make eye contact with and no I'm not gay😂❤😮
