- Kevin McCarthy (@KevinMcCarthyTV), from FOX 5 DC, sat down with Daisy Ridley, Kenneth Branagh, Leslie Odom Jr., Josh Gad, Lucy Boynton, Michelle Pfeiffer, Willem Dafoe, Sergei Polunin, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Derek Jacobi, Tom Bateman and more for MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS.
Daisy Ridley can talk about whatever makes her giggle and I'd watch and be intrigued by all of it.
bbcoachSuperman - ME
Yes. Simply yes.
She’s so fucking cute
I´got say the obvious, Kevin McCarthy is one of the best interviewers of our time, you can see the passion he has on the 7º art. Period. Keep up the fantastic job man. Congratulations.
I totally agree. I tell everyone about him. I think he needs his own show.
I disagree with you, I think he's faker than those porhub ads
He’s such a good interviewer! He doesn’t ask the same boring questions that most interviewers do.
Kevin has and always will be my favorite interviewer!! He asks amazing technical questions that let the actors talk about something they are passionate about. He is also so well informed and you can tell he is passionate about what he does!!
I always love Kevins questions and his enthusiasm! It really makes these interviews very interesting and enjoyable to watch. I usually find many interviews lacking in those departments
the way this video is titled it looks like all of their names are daisy
daisy ridley
daisy gad
daisy branagh
daisy pfeiffer
daisy odom jr.
daisy boynton
Love this interviewer...he has a genuine passion for movies and the craft of acting and the dynamics of making a film and his enthusiasm rubs off...
Dude I’d do just about anything to sit next to Daisy and make her laugh and have a good time!
Leslie is me in group situations. He is soo charismatic and talkative when on his own being interviewed but a little quiet in groups
16:37 Her look at him and beautiful. Adorable duo.
I love how when he says star wars daisy and josh both smile
god i love his interviews, he is literally the best interviewer ever and deserves his own show, the questions he asks always challenges and brings out the best in the actors. Not just boring and dull 'HOW WAS IT working with JOHNNY DEPP!'
I've always found Branagh so charming in interviews. He has a right to be dismissive if he wanted to be, or arrogant. But he treats each interviewer as an equal. He is clearly, when all is said and done, a fan.
nobody "has the right to be dismissive or arrogant", I guess Mr Branagh knows that and in addition is naturally polite and charming
That was a poor choice of words on my part. When I admire an artist as an artist, I tend to retain that admiration even if I discover that they're a bit of a jerk personally. I just cease to admire the private person. With Branagh it's nice to not have to perform those mental gymnastics.
John Davies Why do you say he has a right to be dismissive? So because someone has achieved the top or his profession, that gives him the right to be a jerk?!
Please don't make too much of what I said. I tried to clarify in my second comment. All I really wanted to say is that I'm impressed with how congenial, friendly, and respective Branagh is in interviews. Just a compliment, that's all I intended.
I completely agree.
Edit: 7:24
Gad: I get motion sickness. Like when things are in motion I get sick.
Ridley: Is that what motion sickness is? *giggles*
Gad: Yeah, that's what motion sickness is.
No Daisy that's not what motions sickness is, I'm laughing with you xD
The reflection trick - I learn a lot from this interview
Lucy was brilliant in sing street!
1. Kenneth Branagh (Director/Hercule Poirot)
2. Daisy Ridley (Mary Debenham) aka Rey is between Olaf (Josh Gad aka Hector McQueen) and Winky Halls (Leslie Odom jr aka Doctor Arbuthnot) . Leslie Odom's charactor is a blend of Colonel Arbuthnot (Sean Connery in 1974) and Doctor Constantine (George Coulouris).
3.Michelle Pfeiffer (Mme Hubbard/Linda Arden) and Willem Dafoe (Gehrard Hardman)
4.Sergei Polunin and Lucy Boynton (Count Andrenyi and Countess Andrenyi aka Helena Arden-Grunswald)
5. Tom Bateman, Derek Jacobi and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (Mr Bouc, Edward Masterman and Binamino Marquez). Marquez is a character who take the part of Antonio Foscarelli in the original version (Deni Quilley in 1974)
Such a knowledgeable interviewer and genuinely excited
I think Kenneth's answered as much about Dunkirk as Orient Express on this junket.
Wow Kenneth actually looks like he's really enjoying answering the questions being asked
Never knew poirot is also a director and a camera man. What a man.
Love how he pays respect to Bad Day at Black Rock . Sign of a genuine
Film lover .
What scene were they talking about ?
This is about nothing but technical aspects. Which is interesting and all, but since I'm not a filmmaker it isn't something I really care about. Wish I could find someone talking about the script or the acting or the characters. But then, I found the film very beautiful and very clever but not very human. I didn't believe in this Poirot. And it seemed to me only one character felt any emotional impact over what they had done. Plus it baffles me how two of the characters could even be in the same room together.
So like Keira knightly! Exact same mouth
The interviewer , was he fan-girling or doing an interview?
Is it me or the interviewer has lipstick on?
