Good question but no, lol. You’d be shocked at how well 3M holds if installed properly.
I had a similar spoiler on my BMW for over a year no issues at any speed.

You struggled because youre supposed to get to get it in place, NOT PUSH, take off the tape, then push down once the tape is off 😂
