I have talked to some old metalheads who saw best heavy, power metal dual guitarists in their prime LIVE like Tipton & Downing, Smith & Murray, Hanneman & King, Hetfield & Hammett, Mustaine & Friedman, Hansen & Weikath but they never saw anything like Miyako & Midori. If that isnt telling you A LOT i dont know what will. These girls man, there is no one like this crew, nobody is on this level and diversity like Lovebites. And there in no one who can tell me that there is a better metal band than Lovebites. Over and out...
Yes, they have that effect on a lot of us. It's almost scary to have that much talent on one stage. Don't stay away so long next time. Lots more to experience.
Amazing.........i have no words to explain and the skills of those ladies ...that was FANTASTIC. I loved your reaction all you says it's all i think too. thank you.
Wonderful song. Love to see Miyako playing piano, guitar and singing back-vocals. She is amazing. They all are amazing. My favorite band at this moment.
no worries, I didn't know what to do with my life either, after I heard them for the first time...that song gives me such an 80's vibe...every band has one amazing lead guitar, but twin-leads...just brings tears to the eyes.
With regard to the singing in English thing, I remember reading somewhere that when Miho and Haruna formed the band they wanted to essentially be a tribute to the '80s power metal that they loved. To that end, they also wanted their songs to mostly be in English, to have a wider appeal.
Yes, all of there songs are in 100% English. They want to be accessible to the whole world, to bring their songs to the whole world, so English being the international language makes sense. And it's why I've bought everything they've released so far...lol They have set themselves to conquer the world, and are doing so rather quickly.
nope. there is one song originated written in japanese. although its gettin' english version in the first album, Awakening From Abyss. the title is "Bravehearted" its in their EP single called "LOVEBITES"
That's because Haruna wrote it when she was in Destrose, before Lovebites made the decision to sing in English. I generally prefer when Japanese bands sing in Japanese, so it's a bit odd that I like Lovebites as much as I do. Somehow it just works for them better than it does for most bands. But the Japanese version of Bravehearted is nice to hear.
Now I don't have to tell him LOL But there not the only ones, Bridear has a few in English and Teliceide also sang all there songs in English, and I was sorry when they broke up but I was happy for Natsumi she was able to land in Bridear. ua-cam.com/video/keq-7ZCluFc/v-deo.html here's one for you to check out PG 16 if you haven't heard it.
@@rogermoore5764 Nice, unfortunately I don't like screamo vocals, i can handle a little sprinkled throughout a song, just has to be balanced right for me to get into it. Their music (that song) was awesome, I'd be in total love with the sound save the screamo. I'll check them out further and see, but I loved the music and the regular vocals.
@@HorrorMetalMaestroRedrusty66 I can dig, I'm not into screamers that much myself but I'm 70 and I started playing the drums when I was ten so I have a tendency to listen to the quality of the musicianship, and I've been a friend of Natsumi the drummer since 2017 so that might have something to do with it I guess. This song has no screaming, and this is what I call a cross over song it would have made it on the country charts ua-cam.com/video/pxiyhrWZXPo/v-deo.html Abstract Romance.
Yes, welcome back again to get bites from Lovebites. I think you Lovebitten now😁 If you like this song, check out another great ballads from Lovebites. Try "Egde of the world" and "epilogue" Hope you check out and can enjoyed it too. Big thanks again for your great reaction to Lovebites.
LOVEBITES - Empty Daydream lyrics: Memories I can’t erase still haunting me Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes Falling down Breaking heart A growing addiction Just let me go away Just let me go my way Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control I’m losing sight of me I’m losing sight of you I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will go on Nothing new, pretending not to know the truth Rendezvous, without emotion or heart I won’t show how weak and sad I am inside Even though I know it’s just silly pride Empty room Endless rain The end of a daydream You never call my name You never feel the same You never make me feel like I deserve any love I’m waiting for the dawn I’m waiting for the time I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal, so I can go on Memories I can’t erase still haunting me Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes Falling down Breaking heart A growing addiction Empty room Endless rain The end of a daydream Just let me go away Just let me go my way Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control I’m losing sight of me I’m losing sight of you I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will… You never call my name You never feel the same You never make me feel like I deserve any love I’m waiting for the dawn I’m waiting for the time I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal, so I can go on

Miyako singing more backups in this show, even in higher notes. But she didn't do this anymore during FoaK show like in "Edge of the World" and "We the United"
It's a very deceptive song. It makes you rock out - then you're hit with heartbreaking lyrics like: "I won't become a doll you control" and "You never make me feel like I deserve any love.." *Anyone* who purports to love someone but treats them like that needs to stop and take a hard look at themselves.
It's amazing how they gently bring you in with the soft keystrokes of Miyako and Asami's sultry voice, then pow right in the kisser like an anvil, your mind blown, face melted, and your ass kicked around for fun. There is just no one absolutely no one better than Lovebites. I am no longer naming names of other bands as they themselves have let me down on a personal level, oh well it is what it is. These wonderful ladies have not let me down since 2017 I do have their entire collection and I am patiently waiting for March when they release their 4th EP "Glory to the World" which I know is going to be epic just like all the rest. Anyway here is one they released a couple of days ago from the anime series track of Vladlove "Winds of Transylvania" ua-cam.com/video/4KTVYGr1Rp0/v-deo.html
Here is a new Lovebites song hot off the mixing board. From the anime Vladlov is the theme song Winds of Transylvania ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html You will love the mix of the band and the anime.
Superb performers, such talent but heavy metal is such a one way street. They have the talent to diversify and create their own genre with the all time best dual guitar set up and the natural beauty to establish stage prescence in any setting.
I think that deep down Japanese rock bands crave the approval of English speaking fans. I think just maybe, maybe Japanese respect the English speaking bands so very much that to perform in English is rock perfection to them. Hope my pretend psychology does not offend; what I want to highlight is that they really respect and love rock as it was 1rst presented to them.
This one was shot back in October. Sorry for the weird format. Had to do a lot so this wouldn't get blocked.
Thanks for re-uploading! Great vid 😀🤘🏼
yes all their songs are in English for more International recognition. especially when they went to the UK.

Miho Miho Miho!
In Japan, every musician has to play the piano as a basis. But in fact Miyako is a piano virtuoso.
With regard to the singing in English thing, I remember reading somewhere that when Miho and Haruna formed the band they wanted to essentially be a tribute to the '80s power metal that they loved. To that end, they also wanted their songs to mostly be in English, to have a wider appeal.

LOVEBITES - Empty Daydream lyrics:
Memories I can’t erase still haunting me
Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes
Falling down
Breaking heart
A growing addiction
Just let me go away
Just let me go my way
Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control
I’m losing sight of me
I’m losing sight of you
I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will go on
Nothing new, pretending not to know the truth
Rendezvous, without emotion or heart
I won’t show how weak and sad I am inside
Even though I know it’s just silly pride
Empty room
Endless rain
The end of a daydream
You never call my name
You never feel the same
You never make me feel like I deserve any love
I’m waiting for the dawn
I’m waiting for the time
I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal, so I can go on
Memories I can’t erase still haunting me
Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes
Falling down
Breaking heart
A growing addiction
Empty room
Endless rain
The end of a daydream
Just let me go away
Just let me go my way
Just let me go, I won’t become a doll you control
I’m losing sight of me
I’m losing sight of you
I’m losing sanity and I don’t know how I will…
You never call my name
You never feel the same
You never make me feel like I deserve any love
I’m waiting for the dawn
I’m waiting for the time
I’m waiting for my bleeding heart to heal,
so I can go on

Frozen Serenade another masterpiece from the ladies. Also Swan song with Chopin intro, another mind blowing talent display

Great comment. I agree completely. Asami did a fantastic work writing the lyrics.
That Drop was very unexpected
My fav rock bands are BandMaid, Wagakki band, Lovebites.
If you learnt to walk and talk, it's simply a case of motivation and what one is exposed to when young.

They haven't "let you down on a personal level". 🤦 They don't know who you are. Get a sense of proportion.
"Lovebites" songs are all in Heavy Metal English
Great...react WE BE UNITED LIVE....TWINS GUITARS IS CRAZY
Beautyful song...next LIAR
Some of their songs have the nightwish vibe...almost. Not my jam but a great song. What a great metal band!
