These bastards first destroy peoples lives and later on they accept Islam and all their sins are forgiven, now it doesn't matter whether the victim forgives them or not because God has already forgiven them... These bastards get no punishment from God for all what they did because they accepted Islam where as victim is just being offered bribes by Allah that if he forgives him, he will enter Jannah... Isn't it enough for the victim after having his whole life destroyed to enter Jannah without forgiving him ? In other words the victim gets a mid finger salute and nothing else , whereas this bastard is now roaming freely in this world and in the hereafter ...

guys moazzam is still lobbying for his talib brothers. He is PAKI but supports talibans in Afg. He is absolutely against women's education. Don't fall for him playing victim role. He does have shady past. Look at him taking pictures with many talib fighters and haqqanis and how he praise them.

this is not what any soldier signs up for and yes okay so he was a good bad soldier that doesn't make him a hero...he should be charged along with the government for conspiracy (any one of us would be at the very least guilty by association).

Old mate seems super guilty in his body language and responses, taking every opportunity he can to profess how much of a good caring guy he was/is. Something doesn't sit right IMO.

I felt the same. Surely you know what the fuck is going on in that place. I can only imagine it being like good cop bad cop. Could be completely wrong though.

You can be a good person stuck in a bad or even evil environment. And for sure in hindsight he would probably not worked there but can't change the past. Look in the mirror if you want to judge. One love

Yeah he must have got a job in the industry by accident, and applied for one in the world's most notorious zero human rights prison without knowing what it was, and continued working there seeing servere rights violations everyday without realising. What a great guy.

To be fair, many of the guards who worked in Gitmo thought they were doing their patriotic duty, because they were genuinely convinced by the lies they were fed. The sign of a good human being is that when they see the people they were guarding, and interact at a human level, they begin to realise that they were lied to, and become changed people. Personally, I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

MaaashAllah. Good to know. I hope that we can all keep our faith strong when put on trial and make friends with the good people who are put to be our enemies. The Prophet Muhammad salalahu alayhi wa salam turned many of his enemies to friends because of his kindness. It's good to see it with Muslims of today. This guard seems like a gentle person. I hope that Allah guides him and has mercy on him.
