I think he was just knows that everything will be clipped and is less comfortable with clips floating around showing him embodying submissiveness. Exactly! The best Doms are able to empathise with the sub. I don't necessarily think Doms should have to experience the pain/etc that the sub experiences, but it is vital that they understand *how* much pain/whatever they are inflicting and be in tune with the sub's reactions.

I pictured the dom dm doing roleplay with his partner in their bedroom. The sub dm is doing this at his friend's mom's kitchen table, and everyone around him is uncomfortable.
