It’s not sanitary love. Bacteria grows in moist environments and makeup sponges harbor a lot of bacteria. I reuse them on myself and replace after 3 months. However for clients it’s a one time use. That’s why I purchase these affordable ones instead of the actual beauty blender. I buy the Morphe ones In bulk, pay about $4 for each and that’s included in my rates as business expenses.
You can find them cheaper in Amazon and Ali Express. I get a lot of cheaper and softest beauty blender and in my currency, it is less than a buck each (some of them are half a buck and even less, but the quality is still superb). If you buy it in bulk, it will be cheaper. When you do this, you can give out the bleanders to your clients and not agonizing on how pricey they are.
I just bought the shein ones recommended from another makeup artist for $3.50, he raves about it! Im excited cause Jesus they've become expensive. I also started giving to my clients to keep cause its their face so why not?

Loved this video! I used to clean my brushes with paper towels as well but you should switch to a microfiber cloth! It works so much better! I only use paper towels for lip brushes, eyeliner brushes, and wet foundation or concealer brushes so I don’t stain the towel. Basically the towel is for eyeshadow and dry powder brushes and I promise you’ll see the difference!

A big help you would be to purchase a mister. I put alcohol in it and mist everything. Alcohol kills on contact. No need to wipe shadows since it will evaporate in less than a minute. You can mist your brushes, bag, holder, everything. 😉

I tried looking for the sanitizing spray but it gives me the wipes instead so I bought the cinema secret sanitizing spray and it works amazing and I love the fresh scent it has my clients always compliment how clean and fresh my brushes smell 😊
No love you shouldn’t dip into the actual setting powder. The proper way of doing this is putting the powder on the lid then use a brush to pick up the powder from there. Once your done, spray disinfectant on the lid, dry it and put it back on setting powder.
This isn't a disinfecting question..but I had a question on how you know what foundation shades to bring when planning for women of color , do they take a picture of themselves to show the skin tone or you just bring all the shades for the brown tone skin?
Yes I have multiple brush sets these were just my personal brushes that I dirtied while filming (like I said in the video) but it’s also good to take the cinema secrets solution with you just in case you run out of brush sets so that you can clean them in between clients if need be. If you have 10-11 ladies is unrealistic to have 10-11 different brush sets.
