I keep picturing a cool coffee and tea bar across from the refrigerator. You already have the machines. Takes the clutter from the counter. Add flavor pumps…Decorate with coffee pictures and mug hangers on the walls. Oooohhh! 😄

You might want to put some heavy duty Velcro strips on the top/bottom of the loose pieces of the vanity to keep them from sliding off. That could be disastrous.

A chair will probably block the vanity too much- might as well be able to admire it now that you've got it! So how about a stool for it that'll slide under when it's not in use? Vanities traditionally came with stools rather than chairs tbh.

i know the point of getting the crisscross chair from tiktok was to make working from home more comfy, BUT i feel like if you switch it to your vanity and bring the brown chair back out to the living room, they'll compliment each of those spaces perfectly and make everything look so cohesive!!

For the vanity, my head goes towards a statement color chair, like mustard yellow, pink, or light blue. But I know that may not be your style!

I think some kind of round ottoman can be an option for the vanity. It’s so pretty and I feel like most chairs will cover it + extra storage? The only downside is it does not have a back rest if that’s what you’re looking for.

If you are into thrifting, the Goodwill on Glebe Road is amazing - so many good home goods and NWT clothing. I used to walk there when I lived in your neighborhood. I lived in the building above the Trader Joe's. Now I live in Denver, so it's fun to live vicariously through you.
You should do the Fords Theater and the house where Lincoln died tour. We did that a few years ago. There are actually a lot of really cool tours to do. I loved DC when we visited there. Thanks for sharing!

Why not get the black wood hangers for the clothes rail ..? Also could you get another 2 drawer unit for the other side of the vanity table? .....you have the space and it would add interest and space for your things

I believe the vanity should match the color of your bedside table. Or you can change the handle of drawers for something more modern. Sorry, but I don’t like it.. it darkens the bedroom.
I’d prefer to put the white desktop and get a new one as a modern desk.
Kristee, first moving vlog finally had 1080p option, but next videos went back to 720p. It would be really nice if you/your video editor could stick to 1080p render settings as it makes a huge difference for us who love to watch your vlogs 😞💔
I thought something seemed different. And then I read your comment and I completely agree. The 1080p seems to be easier on the eyes.
