This may be the best aoe farm for a paladin at the moment in TBC classic! Farming scholo you can get around 350g/hr with dark runes, raw vendorables, and pure gold. Each run takes about 12 minutes per run. With a single boostee, they can get around 22-24k xp per run, for around 120k xp/hr in the first hour and 100k xp/hr continuously. The experience per hour is slightly worse than stratholme solo, but you get more gold per hour.

Best part is doing the quest chain outside for the spectral essence so you can see the vendor. You can delete the essence and just a new one from the NPC, but it means you have a vendor for your shiznit right outside the instance!
@Arlaeus I know I'm kind of late on this but the tutors silences are nature based spells. Just a tiny bit of nature resistance should be able to up your ability to resist a lot of them against level 58-60 mobs. If you can afford a slot for it or have a mark of the wild available I'd take it.

In the first big room (the last room he is doing) there is an Succubus patroling around, if you kill her she drops the blood to summon the first boss. If you are enchanter you get 2 shards from him too, another 20g/run.

Two manned it for my mount quest and learned how much drops and went back after hitting 70 a few times. It’s a good one for sure

Seems to me, if bubble and consecrate are up, you can use a heavy netherweave bandage. That’s at least a few ticks of mana free health regen.

You can turn the tune cloth into bandages and vendor that. More gold and saves bag spsce
I swear you read my mind. I was just thinking about this and soloing DM for runes.
I just wanted to add that if the mobs hit for up to 100 physical damage while doing so much more magical damage then it is a better idea to pick up Spell Warding instead of Shield Specialization considering that the blessing of sanctuary plus the earthen elixir if not some extra block value from the gear should be able to cover all the physical damage that can be blocked. I would also pick Ardent Defender instead of Holy Shield since the shield itself has only four charges that get depleted extremely fast and do not really make a difference while Ardent Defender could improve the surviability rate. p.s. this farm is a nice alternative to the black morass one so thanks for the video

If I remember correctly the silence effect is a Shadow School spell. So if you’re having issues with Silence you could use Shadow Resistance Aura or one or two Shadow Resistance items, which would give you additional chance to resist the silences and thus increasing your damage by a lot- maybe even allowing us to pull more than 2 spectres at a time.
Sanc aura is a must for these pulls. The shadow gear may work but losing mitigation and int/sp
@@wolfwhisperer580 There are quite a few good Shadow Resistance items you can get though, the tradeoff is spelldamage vs damage uptime as silence drastically reduces your damage uptime. A silence lasts for 5-9 seconds, that's potentially a whole Consecration you miss which means you take more damage and risk death.

Hi, I'm a prot pally with eng and ench. I want to be able to farm decently enough and I want to drop one of these to pickup Blacksmithing to raid as ret. Which should i drop?
Probably drop enchanting because engineering gives a crazy haste boost from the battle chicken buff. You pop the chicken just before the fight starts and then replace it with your normal trinket. Apart from drums, i think its the strongest buff you can get from a profession as a retri if I'm not mistaken. Also, goggles and bombs that get affected by wings are another huge plus.

@@666tReaper it's a good farm for the runes though. I had it down to 5 to 6 smaller pulls only having 2 ghosts at the most per pull. But it's real easy to mess up.
great! Dark runes are 14g on my server. Is it safe to say this is THE BEST paladin gold farm at the moment? I suppose only Black Morass could be better and only IF you have skinning?
BM is crap on most servers with silk being 3g or less and leather being vendor trash at this point.

@@user-db6ql1mv7s there is nothing currently in game to take the place of dark runes except for demonic runes. players will ALWAYS want dark runes to parse and to speed run. this farm will always be viable, even into wrath i believe cause nothing is added as a consume like dark runes. i dont think anyways.

Maybe you're looking at the wrong place, like I did. He's inside the castle walls in the blacksmith, not at the shore.
Just tried this pull. had a hard time with the silences from the spectral tutors. also had a hard time with the summoners staying in place during pull 4. I had to run out and they were sort of spread out everywhere. I'll keep trying.

how are you looting so many mobs so quickly? a mousewheel macro or something?
Keybinds>Targeting>Interact with mouseover. I made those keyinds Alt+Scroll wheel up+down but you can do whatever.
You can always send the runecloth to a alt, craft and sell bandages. It will take a LONG time, dont get me wrong (i usualy craft it while hacing lunch). But you will get 40% more profit from it

@@SainiSan NOP, 100% vendor haha, a stack of 20 runecloth goes for 80 silver, 20 bandages goes for 2 gold (bandages takes 2 runecloth to make one) so instead of 1.6g per 2 stacks of runecloth, you sell 20 heavy ruinecloth bandage for 2g
If you do not have the key for scholo, you can easily just go do the quests for it, without wasting your time doing a convoluted way to die and get behind the door.
Is killing the bosses possible? Of course this is for the blues that can be DEd into large brilliant shards
yes, it's possible, but it's not worth killing the minibosses because oftentimes they don't even drop anything.

You have nowhere near the aoe damage to burn the mobs down before dying, also your block is only 2 charges compared to holy shield’s 8

There are some already. The gold per hour said 450 a hour but the comments were saying it’s more like 200 max.
runecloth is dead on my server too i found it worthy to cloth them into belts disenchant till u have enough dust to build the chest ..which give the good shit

i get more raw gold in strath. 1 run give pretty much every run 17g. never less than that.
He was talking with out selling items. Strath does not give 17g raw gold looted, after selling the cloth, greys and greens, yes but not since most of the mobs we kill are non elites.

@@Smoothy104 strath gives raw 24g and raw 300g/5runs (not hour like many degen youtubers say, but 5 hours) if you pull living side as well, I am talking this cos if you can farm scholo then you should be able to pull living side on strat, and turns out that its not a big difference in gold
Even before this video, dark runes hardly ever sell on my server, becasue the supply is just too high. many non-aoe-farm classes can just pick up this farm (both enhancement shamans in our guild do this regulary), so the market is just flooded, and you hardly make any extra income from the AH.

if you are lower on hp, you can jump off the roof of Scholo and die from the fall and get in that way

All your videos do is kill every farm in the game, Strat used to be good until you're videos. Dark Runes about to become 3g each once the bots take this over.
