Staying in a pool house in Madeira | Madeira & Portugal Series Ep 2 | The Rustic Wanderer

One thing I had on the top of my bucket list for my tropical summer holidays in Madeira and Portugal was swimming- a lot of swimming. What better way to ensure that than staying in a pool house in Madeira.
My accommodation was a really beautiful villa called Casa do Poço located in Sao Roque near Funchal. Staying here was perfect in the sense that I was away from the hustle and bustle of the capital of Funchal yet I was close enough. I actually had the aerial view of Funchal and Atlantic right from the swimming pool which is what I was enjoying when I took this thumbnail.
