I'm appalled you have so little faith in my writing. Yeah, this sort of push and pull between him and his listener is a core part of their canon relationship. While he's certainly got his dramatic shenanigans, Auron is neat, and his listener is established as competent and confident very early on.
So no one's going to call out the fact that when he said you just didn't wake up and chose violence even though in reality and fanfiction we're all a little gremlins and yes we do do that sometimes so he clearly doesn't get out much cuz we pretty much do that every day as listener and in reality😐
