Hibiscus Mahajad has been on my wish list ever since it came out. I love that you love rose...it's an amazing and versatile note in fragrance! Cheers, Curtis.
Hopefully you can score a sample of it. I do really enjoy it and I tend to really love the work done by Quentin Bisch. Thanks a bunch for watching and always for the support.
When I was in my early twenties I worked at a few plant nurseries and grew to love the smell of rose. Even appreciate its nuances and the different variations. Pure Rose is definitely feminine, but it can be used in so many ways that when I hear guys say that it's too feminine for them I just don't understand it. There are so many modern men's fragrances that have a floral note, and if it's used right it can be really nice. Usually in men's fragrances it's a little too subtle, I like floral notes that are obviously floral notes. And it is unfortunately a little hard to find masculine floral notes. But when you do they are incredible.
Hi! I completely agree with you. My journey with florals has been ever changing and I really appreciate floral fragrances and I have absolutely zero issues with wearing them or thinking that they are too feminine. Thanks a bunch for sharing your thoughts and watching the video.
Some other faves of mine are Jo Malone Red Roses (citrusy rose but lasts surprisingly long for Jo Malone), MFK À La Rose (very realistic rose...the rose in the men's version seems to get lost amongst the citruses and woods so that one's not my fave), and Hermès Myrrhe Eglantine (beautiful combo of rose and myrrh).
Hi! I have not tried any of the fragrances that you mentioned, but am very curious about the one by Hermes. Hermes just does a phenomenal job with their scents in my opinion, so I will try and get a sample of that one. Thank you for sharing about it.
Great scents, but these are best mode performers. i thought the Japanese for the most part preferred softer, cleaner, unassuming scents? I wonder how they perceive these fragrances
Hi! I would say for the most part, it really depends on the situation. If you are in the workplace typically you should not wear fragrances. Thankfully for me, my boss enjoys fragrances so she allows me to wear them. Also, if I am going to use any form of public transportation, I usually will not wear any fragrance or I will just spray one time, but it really depends on the type of fragrance that I want to wear that day. But generally speaking, I would say that the Japanese tend to be quite sensitive to fragrance, so less is more. Thanks for the question and for watching!
I have tried that one on skin. I really enjoy the smell, but unfortunately it does not work with my skin chemistry. I have smelled it on a few other people though and it really smells amazing!
Another great video sir!!! Please keep them coming.
I appreciate it, my friend. Thanks for watching!
