Very true that Ghana and the whole of Africa need more futurists than spiritualists.

@@jacquelineaber8927 The whole argument here is actually centered around spirituality within christianity and Islam, and not African religion.

You see, Africa is the birthday place of science because our ancestors observed the galaxy (the stars and heavenly bodies and used it to design lunar and solar calenders that helped them to plan planting and harvesting seasons in agriculture as this enabled them to know when the rainy and dry seasons would come. A lunar calender is based on the monthly cycles of the moon's phases (synodic months). A solar calender's annual cycles are based only directly on the solar year. The Gregorian calendar for instance, is a solar calendar that gives a date based on the position of the sun in relation to the stars behind it. The cycles that a lunar calender records are based on the monthly phases of the moon.

💯❤️to Dr.Ashitey.....Didn’t like the way the interviewer assumed because of where he was from,he lacked Curiosity and talking about feeling intimidated again because he from Ghana and Africa as a whole..... he seems to display inferior complex!!!

I think you both misinterpreted his interviewing style. His questions were - draw out - to educate an audience.

Science and biblical faith harmonize thoroughly. Those who mystify faith, incorrectly value science or demonize either often do so from a basis of ignorance or bias. The choice isn't one or the other. It's both imo.

Malik Abass Daabu, science has not served Arica so well because it was not and has not been properly developed because of a number of external and internal factors. Look, South Koreans and Japanese are not christians, but because they developed their science into technology and innovation, they have developed and progressed.
