    On the real his production discography is mad deep but one thing as a food for thought you current, upcoming and future producers...Humility!!! It goes a long way...It seems like he doesn't want to really be bothered and the crew is more in the way than welcomed...One shouldn't have to try extra hard to get a conversation. Rappers, producers, athletes and artist in general come and go...IMHO

      It takes a special kinda dude to be making beats all day in a studio without anyone around. When you do that, you gotta love the hermitting factor. Everybody who does it is like that. You can talk about it but you can also just rock a new beat. Priorities.

    Massive props to the interviewer! All these other interviewers in Hip-Hop read questions from a book with some basic snooze fest questions “what’s your favourite food?” Blah blah. Thank you for having genuine passion about the culture and Nottz’ production process! And of course shout out to Nottz for his invaluable contribution to the culture!

    • @DigitalHustleFilms
      @DigitalHustleFilms  9 років тому +8

      With full disclosure and transparency, the first version was an hour long and Nottz asked to cut a lot of stuff out that you guys may have like but I understand it. He was playing some beats that might have been for sale to an artist. There was also other conversation and MY questions that were cut out by Nottz's request. My next interview with Chad West is almost an hour and 30 minutes and very informative.

Plus you get to see literally hands on what plug ins and daw he's using. The cat interviewing just needs to scale it back a bit and realize that the story is who's being interviewed. Once the interviewed party is talking and in rhythm to speak - STFU... You opened the lane, now let him drive. Nottz looks annoyed because Money is extra and cutting him off crazy... Train him up, Gadget! Stick and move - ask an open-ended question and let it breathe.

    He was low key but he said some gems in there. I would've like to hear some of his old joints and hear him talk about them. I know I've heard his stuff but I'm new to his name. It was a aiigth interview. That last joint he played was nice.

  • @Netm8kr
    @Netm8kr 9 років тому +3

    No disrespect, thankful to get an inside peek of my dude Nottz. But, everyone ain't built to do interviews. Just a few mins into it, I'm like let the man speak or finish a response without comment.
    Yeah, being amped is one thing. But don't let your vibe dominate the vibe of the talent. Don't get me wrong again, it's good to see peeps getting experience. But someone should've pointed out a few things before releasing the vid.
    Gadget bruh, this may sound biased.. But, this is why we enjoy your body of work so much. Peace...Netm8kr.

    Bruh.. If you really know one machine, you know them all. That might be one of the dumber quotes I've heard out of a producer's mouth. Lol he knows how to use the maschine mk2 but won't even try to learn the studio without someone holding his hand? Seriously wtf
