This is my type of game - deduction, math, and logic puzzles in general. My favorite in terms of pure deduction, with meaningful decisions by the player, is Hooky. After one or two games, if you have some skills with logic, the strategy really develops, and you get better and better scores.
Finally got my copy! I'm bringing it to game night tonight :) I think my favorite logical deduction game is The Search for Planet X. I haven't played The Search for Lost Species though. One of these days!
Both of the "Search for" games are great. Lost Species adds a spatial element with the island hexes and terrain. Hope you enjoy A Message from the Stars. -- Melissa
