The 2.9 petrol sounds so much better than the 3.0 diesel, I feel sorry for Europeans

USA Version have the RS-4/5 Engine.

I'm glad, that the 2.9 in the S7 doesnt sound as crap as in the rs4/rs5.
Yes they definitely tuned the sound differently. Sounds way more beefy in person vs the almost Nissan GTR like sound of the rs. I do like both.

GY you can import s6 from US but that is expensive
It sounds a bit different because unlike the RS models, the S models with this engine are mild hybrids.

It almost sounds like a 4-cylinder. I think Mercedes’ 3.0L V6 sounds a lot better. This is very disappointing. Usually VW-Audi have some of the best sounding 6-cylinder exhaust notes. The old 3.0L Supercharged V6 sounded a lot better.
They should have stuck with the twin turbo v8 and just add an electric motor(s)

Why does it sound so different than RS5 if same engine?
I think the presence of a 48V mild hybrid system has something to do with it, plus a different exhaust.

The only thing I don’t like with the new model is that they replaced the v8 with a v6 also it doesn’t look as sporty like Audi common it’s a really nice car but why wasn’t it as sporty and why a v6 it’s a sports car no one cares about pollution

One of those cars that sounds much better going down the road than revving stationary. Definitely also sounds better in person. Not the best sound tbh tho aha
