Great singer and he shows things (not only him) that the student cannot sound ever like him. Why? because non of the professional old singers do not talk about the most important thing-the technique that needs to be studied for many years to be able to do it....and I know why they don't discuss that, because during a master class it is impossible to attain.....it only comes thru a very attentive studies and takes many years! This is the truth! That is why I never believe master classes are going to give anything - with exception of time when the student technically is really prepared. Then only starts the process of working on the character, which is just the cosmetic design of the singer. Many people think they can skip the technique and go to the design part.....never...or will have very small voices -non-developed. They will never have the ability of coloring......etc.

It would be wonderful to know who the singers are. The soprano singing Desdemona has a very lyrical, more like a lyric coloratura? Definitely not a full lyric. She has very little if any chest voice.
Tornare in dietro, non sarà facile. Forse impossibile. Siamo costretti alla nostalgia. Che ci uccide!!!!!! Meditate gente, meditate!!!!!!!
