Sorry you feel offended by a title. We heard from numerous sources that Albania is dangerous, particularly in regards to driving and pick-pocketing/petty robbery. People we know expressed concern when we mentioned that we're going to Albania, so there are actually still people who are afraid to travel to this beautiful country because of such rumors. So the question is legitimate and we decided to answer it. I hope this answers your question.
Albania 🇦🇱 is one of the safest countries in Europe. There is even more safe than big cities like London, Paris, Berlin, etc. pick-pocket exist everywhere and you need to be aware but in Albania it happens rare. No need to be scared to visit it! There are many solo travelers (women as well) who have came in Albania and nothing bad has happened to them.
@D.H.Alb.24 Well, well, well... After the fall of communism many Eastern Europeans went to Italy, Austria, UK, France, Spain, and other Western countries, and they are pickpocketing there, where the money are. So yeah, you are right, most former communist countries are safer now for their criminals moved in the West.
Thanks for watching! 🙏 Stating an observation when describing a place to people who may be interested in going there and want to know what to expect is not complaining, tho 🤔
The point was to show what it's like and that you can also get away from the crowds. One can't explain getting away from the crowds without...the crowds. This really wasn't the point of the video. We can't please everyone, sorry it was not to your particular liking ✌️
Of course it is not as safe as it used to be 30 or 40 years ago, for all the criminals from the former communist countries moved to the West, where the money are.

According to SCIENCE (Journal of the American Association for the Advancement of Science) Albanian Language is Spoken for at least 6000 years BC uniterrupted ...
Did you Guys learned any Albanian words, or did you find out that so many English words are the same or similar to Albanian ones?! I heard some intellectuals and linguistics saying that the English Language is another Albanian Dialect and another Albanian Scholar=Intellectual and Author of Many Books regarding Albanian and other Languages said:
"Anglishtja esht Dibranqe e keqe"= English Language is Bad Dibranqe. Dibra is Region in Albania and Macedonia, basicely he is saying that people who speak English speaking Albanian Language as Albanian speak in DIBRA Region but not as good as people of Dibra...
Thankyou very much for making this video and telling the truth and being realistic. Honesty is the best value of people's quality.
Your little Angel is Adorable, I Wish you nothing but THE BEST OF THE BEST in entire your future life and please visit and Ancient DARDANIA=Kosova nowadays.
Love, Respect, Enjoyable, Safe and Memorable Travellings, lots of Fun and Good Luck where ever you go and where ever you are.
Thank you so much for your kind words and sharing your knowledge with us! 🤗 We did learn a few Albanian words while we were there ☺️
Something I always wondered about, how is it possible that in Christian Europe, Albania, Kosova and Bosnia have become Muslim?

Wow, it looks so beautiful! Thanks for the recommendation, we'll add it to our list 🪣
Are you allowed to use your phone whilst driving in Albania
No you're not. Unfortunately rental cars don't come with phone holders, and since Annita was filming Steve was holding the phone for driving directions.
As albanians we are nice cool nation but we have some dark site to but is mainly with each other 😂 just joking I hope you had great time and say something to government to improve! All love beautiful family send all ❤️
Thank you! 🫶 We had a wonderful time ☺️
it's called a "goat dog" :D
😂🤣
There are youngsters who drink all night and decide to drive drunk! This is related to those memorials!
Very sad 😞
I see the word dangerous is only for attracting attention, don’t think Albania deserves that.
The rumors we had heard about Albania were in regards to pick-pocketing, unsafe/reckless driving, and petty robbery. They were similar rumors that one hears about Istanbul. As I mentioned to another similar comment, when we told people we know that we're going to Albania, many of them expressed concern regarding safety, so we wanted to answer this question for the people that still believe these rumors. Also, we come from Canada and the US (my point is, we're quite detached from European local knowedge and culture), so it's one thing to read about things online (where often times one finds mixed opinions), and a completely different thing to hear it from locals/people in the area. Albania is a beautiful, safe country with friendly locals and amazing food, and we hope to help others see this as well. I hope this brings some clarity regarding the title.
The title of this video is misleading and make it seem as it is a dangerous place.

What a gross clickbait title? Who told you Albania was dangerous? A reliable source...Why would you publish that. I am so sick of this ugh
Don’t mind the idiots who say rubbish. Main thing is for you and your family to enjoy Albania that’s what matters love and peace ✌️
👏👏👏👏👏👌👌👌🇦🇱🇦🇱🇦🇱

Forse siamo fratelu divisi
Going to a tourist spot and then complaining about the number of tourists seems a bit ironic.
Thanks for watching! 🙏 Stating an observation when describing a place to people who may be interested in going there and want to know what to expect is not complaining, tho 🤔
@@thetraveling3 Obviously, going to a tourist destination, one would expect to see tourists. That's not exactly insightful.
The point was to show what it's like and that you can also get away from the crowds. One can't explain getting away from the crowds without...the crowds. This really wasn't the point of the video. We can't please everyone, sorry it was not to your particular liking ✌️
Nowhere in The uk or west is safe.
Of course it is not as safe as it used to be 30 or 40 years ago, for all the criminals from the former communist countries moved to the West, where the money are.
Aghioi Saranta is in North Epirus, not Albania.
@@geogeo2299 Saranda is a city in the south of Albania 🇦🇱. Stop the BS. There’s no dispute over any territory nor any..claims. The borders are settled and are respected. North Epirus is a historic term. Albania doesn’t call the said territory as such. It’s just South Albania.
@@geogeo2299 Saranda is a city in the south of Albania. Stop the BS.
@@D.H.Alb.24 "Saranda" is the albanized word of the city's Greek name, Aghioi Saranta, meaning "forty saints".
Stop the BS.
@@D.H.Alb.24 Wrong, North Epirus is the area in modern Albania where Albania's internationally recognized Greek minority live. Stop the BS.
@@geogeo2299 then give us back the Chameria which is Albanian
I see you later for dinner 💀

Beautiful views spoiled by the annoying delivery of that woman...

Beautiful albania
Yes it is 😍 We can't wait to go back one day 🇦🇱
@thetraveling3 I like the mountains and to say something, the mountains in Albania are very beautiful, but there is also something that I have not experienced in any mountains around the world, there the mountains have a very strong calming energy, heaven indeed
