Here in wisconsin myself and everyone I know use the gundlach 700 pouch. Holds screwdrivers on each side, little front pouches for carpet blades in the wrappers, pencils, pens, and big area for knifes, pliers, and so on. Out of the 19 or so years I’ve been laying I’ve only had to run back home a handful of times for my belt lol . I seen someone commented to put hot glue on bottom when they start wearing out. That’s a great idea . We usually just wrap ours in duct tape to get more time out of them lol. Thanks for sharing and making these videos . I like how these videos bring everyone together in this trade.
CarpetMan I couldn’t agree more, I love that all the floor guys get on here and Communicate and there’s very little negativity, thank you for sharing your input
Hey bud sorry I missed your live stream. I've seen some installers just put their knife in back pocket with blade sticking out. That's just asking for trouble, it'll slice your hand right open. Yes I received my kicker and I thank you very much for it! I love it!
shawn moore That’s awesome, I was hoping you would like , I sure like mine so thanks for letting me know that you received it and I completely agree with sticking a blade in your pocket
Great video, bub! Man, when you said "Britches" and "Tote" it made my day. I'm from WV, and those words have been in my vocabulary since I was a kid, lol, it's cool to hear someone else using them.
In a pinch when your tool pouch wears out in the bottom you can fill it up with some hot glue from a hot glue gun and can make them last another 6 months or longer
Do you work for a company or your own account if so how much per yard do you get where you're at here in. Vegas usually like 1.60 to 2.50 for standard carpet and 3.25 or 3.50 for sheet vynil I just did 74 sqy of vynil today with 5 hours prep and 2 appliances so made like 320 today
@@FloorsbySouthernboysdaaamn that's really how is the cost of living? Dont get me wrong I do.
