Shield arms also has a plus 5 baseplate for these mags, 21 rounds in a compact is something sweet. Great capacity, rdo ready. Need to see reviews to see its reliability though.

If it makes you feel any better, those Glock mags aren't OEM, they're aftermarket Shield Arms S15s designed for Glock 43X and 48, increasing the capacity from the standard 10 rounds to 15, without extending below the standard grip by going with a simple steel magazine tube instead of the polymer coated steel of OEM Glock mags, which allows for more internal volume, increasing the round count by 50%.
Maybe a dumb question but, how do you like it for an entry level "2011" type pistol? How does it stack up to say a Springfield Prodigy or something like that as far as return to zero, recoil response, fit/finish, etc.? I found one for $1200 and that's cheaper than I can find a 4.25 Prodigy. But even 1200 bucks is pushing my price range, so I can only buy one. Thanks and great video as always.
Try racking the slide ejecting the bullet only to catch it back in the action again. Or try the standing bullet challenge, flip in air, racking the slide to then catch in the action.
These are cool, but I read some things that made me hesitant to get one. It kinda sounds like they need more time to mature. At least it would be nice to see a magwell.
It might technically take a Glock pattern magazine but it still doesn't take the OG Glock mags, sadly. I get why, the Shield mags are thinner which made the grip more manageable, just kind of a blue ball situation when someone says "This gun takes Glock mags" and it turns out it uses 43X magazines...

Yeah, the gun is built around those mags...43X mags are thin as it is...the S15 mags are even thinner. This gun is thinner than a single stacked 1911.
