Wow! It looks like the bar band I was in did the intro to Stormbringer better than this Deep Purple did. How can I say that? Ritchie Blackmore promoted himself as a guitarist who just plugged straight into his amp. That meant he wasn't using any effects like Jimi Hendrix was. Jeff Beck and other guitarists also were "straight". For the first time, for the intro section in Stormbringer, Ritchie used an effect that he talked about in a magazine. It was a "Dr. Q." made by Electro-Harmonix in California, a kind of imitation wah-wah pedal. I got one right away. It was small, plugging into your amp with your guitar plugged into it. It wasn't a floor effect, so I'm thinking Ritchie didn't want to use it onstage, having to go over to his amp to turn it on and off got in the way. On a smaller stage that didn't matter much to me, even if I was singing it. Now, these storms are getting heavier.

Это альбом 1974 г.Нарезка из видео Cal Jam,там ДП играли Burn и старые вещи из марк2.Stormbringer вышел позже,аудио из концерта в Париже 1975
