Greatest front man for the greatest rock and roll band in the world!!!!!
My love of Clutch is infinite, but I am no expert. I can't believe people ask them to sound like the old days, when they sound very much the same in many ways. It's hard not to when you have the same 4 dudes in place for all these years. (With the exception of Mick Schauer for a bit.) Plus, their live shows mix it up so much, how can you possibly draw a line between new an old? Fact is, you can put on any Clutch song from any album, and almost instantaneously identify that you are listening to Clutch. I, for one, celebrate their entire catalog. And, we don't need no time machine! Half of the pit in SLC was 50+ and doing just fine. Keep em coming. Sunrise on Slaughter Beach is amazing!
There’s a reason I go see Clutch pretty much any time they perform within 3 hours of me! They never disappoint and are AMAZING live, so much energy and awesomeness!
I heard the same thing, then I went and saw them once and it was horrible. The worst concert I have been to. Don't know if they had a bad night. Talked with a guy who had been to many Clutch at this show. He said they are normally great but tonight they suck. Maybe I should give them another try.
One of the best band ever, both live and on record, can't wait to catch them live again
Ty clutch…for deepening my love of rock
And jacking me up when needed
The distinction to be made lies in the question ‘Is it still music?’ With these guys it is. They’re doing what they do in the moment.
My favourite Clutch album 👍
'Neil, "I think people would surprised how many bands that Steve Jobs is in ." what a quote from the band that is 100% real
Excellent. Just pure brilliance. Thank you for this. So much to relate to. The creative nervous breakdown. The feeling of hearing Clutch for the first time. Of seeing them live in the late 90s. The way the music made me feel. Neil is spot on here.
My favorite Clutch record -- I can listen to it almost anytime.
Had the great pleasure of catching Clutch at the Ryman Auditorium this summer. Perhaps the most iconic venue in the US and got to see my favorite band.
Their greatest album IMO.
Was that Maiden? The Stranglers did that in a dutch music tv show. It's here on YT and it is absolutely awesome.

Was able to see Clutch twice the past wknd. Detroit, then Chicago. Great road trip with my wife! Clutch delivers in a way that few bands can. The sets are different throughout the tour, and yes, their sound and writing have evolved while staying true to themselves. They did play The Regulator both nights, and it was interesting to hear on this interview how they took a chance on that one. 20 years later, and it's still a fan favorite.
Best rock band in the world 🧡
Thanks for this. What an album what a performance
Neil is very wise man
I wish they would do Ghost live. My favorite on the album. And La Curandara
The Maiden show where they totally fucked around was in Germany I believe.

IIRC, Iron Maiden's drumkit fell over mid song on Top Of The Pops.
Swinging pendulum.
You should've close your window
And got another dog
You should've chained up all the doors
And switched up all the locks
