Awesome video. Thanks. Place sure has changed, started going out there in the 70s. Had my high school graduation party there 1978. My dad had a Berkeley with I believe a 455 olds. Great fun. After 6 years military I lived in Parker, bartended at the Sundance for 3 years. There was nothing there. Not like this. I need to visit again. Thanks for the memories. Also spent a lot of time at Harvey’s Fishing Hole. Wow, what a blast we had. Salute 🫡
right where you made the last 360 looks to be where "Echo Lodge" used to be....right across from Sundance. Started going there in 1973. No buildings to speak of then....just "dirt dwelling" but we sure had fun. I had a blown Hallett flatbottom. That used to be flatbottom country right where you were. I have to go back and see it again. I wouldn't have recognized it had you not said where you were. Thanks for posting.
Thinking about taking the old '77 Kona down for a reunion since they say it's been sunk twice on the river tied to the bars before I ever got her..😮 Merlin 454, 12 to 3.75 Jacuzzi still crusin after all of these years.. 😉😉
Sweet Video, I just pulled my Careera out of storage last week in Havasu same enegine blown 540, was sitting for over 5 years !!!!! Changed the batteries and oil still ran smooth and fast, was freezing balls out there !!!!
Lake Powell and Lake Mead are the main issues along the Colorado River system. Hasn’t really affected the river south of Mead. Even Lake Mohave and Lake Havasu are basically full.
Yea in the summer you stay at the sandbar during the middle of the day. Go boating morning and evening. Personally I rarely even touch Parker in the middle of summer. I do spring and fall in Parker.
What is the motor in that jet boat? I'm guessing that the jet pump is a dominator. I friend of mine in the late 80's bought an 18 foot Taylor with a 460 Ford, Steve's cousin Jim had been a world champion drag boat racer, in the blown nitromethane class. Jim talked Steve into switching the berkley jet pump to a dominator pump.
From say Hoover dam to Yuma you can boat pretty much the whole thing BUT there is dam’s blocking you from doing it continuously. I held the longest stretch with no dam’s is from just north of Blythe to Yuma.
@@Oliviaswaxtech Aren't those the 21' GN style Howard and Schiada V Drive boats? I always thought that these would be the perfect "River Runners" to take several friends out for a day of water skiing fun. (Maybe they would be termed as the "Daycruiser" style?) My buddies and I had an 18' Sleekcraft 'Sportster' with a Jacuzzi Bros. pump and a 460 Ford. Also a 21' Hondo 454 BBC with a Berkley pump equipped with a place diverter. Both were a lot of fun running the Salt River and The Colorado at Lake Havasu. Those were the days my friend!
A customer told me about Parker I am looking to move out of this shit hole and try and find some friendly people so far I like what I am seeing, I own and operate my own Marine repair business here in Elko I would like to move to somebody out side of Parker one a decent lot about five acres with a shop already on it . I dont care about the house it can be a dump . I would like to open a shop and build performance engines but I have no clue who to contact in Parker to check on property prices. Again I dont want lake front I dont need to be in Parker would rather be out side where the lots are cheaper. I dont know where that is because I am not from Parker and never been there. Is there anybody I can contact to talk to about the area ? I hope somebody monitors this channel and can reply thanks
@@JetBoatVideos Have no clue where to start or what area is even cheaper . I am sure they have the California side megga millions for crack board houses held together with staples and chip board and then the working mans plots I hope . Just have to keep looking for somebody in Parker that might help me, I am a Non Californian

What time you launch? Best to launch early out there before the big boats come out yeah?

Nothing more "Merican than running the Parker strip in a big V8... I prefer my vdrives but those squirt boats do just fine...

What Impeller are you running? A or B? or something newer?
It’s a fully detailed A-
it`s like watching money burn
Basically 😂
Makes me want to sell my house in Texas and get a Tavel trailer and a blown jet boat a live there
It would be the best decision of your life !!! 😂😂
Always wondered why v8 jetboats never had an automatic transmission behind them....like a car????
Some do, not jet drives. Some V drives will have a Velvet drive 1-3 speed transmission

I don’t know anyone in Real Estate in Parker so you’ll just have to search for a realtor in the area
