Cycling From Marazion To Penzance On The New Cycle Path

- As my car is sitting in the garage I decided to take my bike out and check out the newly reopened cycle path between Marazion and Penzance. It was blowing a gale and it absolutely piddled down at the end of the ride but I managed to film this video before the rain and hail stopped play.
On my way back you'll notice that there are a few coastguards and police vehicles near the Penzance bus station. This was due to some ordnance that was found on the beach. The area was cordoned off but I later learned that the ordnance they discovered posed no danger to the public. At first I assumed that they had found a body but fortunately this wasn't the case.
I love riding along the cycle path, it's a great way to combine exercise with some great views along the way.

Really great cycle path! I walked there many years ago - mostly on the beach - from Penzanze to Marazion, and I will do it again. But now I have the cycle path option as well 👍🏻 Thank you for the lovely video

Thank you so much. Loved your video. The cycle path is great and has really tidied the place up. More car parking along there too, Have been going to Penzance for many, many years apart from the Covid interruption! battery rocks always bring back lovely memories as I used to play there as a child. Thanks for your comment. I’m glad you enjoyed my video. They’ve done a great job of renovating the cycle path. There’s a lot of wooden sculptures that are being put in place at the moment. I’m sure it will all be ship shape by the time the next holiday season rolls around. All the best.

Really wanted to do this as a one way walk when I came to Cornwall this summer but time didn’t allow. Now I know what I missed but got the feeling of being there! Thanks for the video!

Cheers, thanks for your comment. I just checked out your channel. Very nice. I have another channel called JVroundtheworld where I’m busy uploading videos of my world travels over the last 25 years. In 2019 we visited Japan as part of a 4 month trip around the world after getting married in Vegas. I have to say I absolutely loved Japan. I’ve uploaded a few of my videos on JVroundtheworld if you get chance to see them. We went to so many cool places. We will definitely go back when the world has returned to normal. Cheers, JV
