The Centurion D20 Smart sliding gate motor is the strongest sliding gate motor of the Centurion sliding gate motor range.
The Centurion D20 Smart is a Centurion D10 Smart but with a smaller steel pinion gear.

This difference between the Centurion Smart gate motors, means that one cannot just swop out the two Centurion gate motors.
One will have to cut the steel gate rail off and reweld it into position according to factory specifications to allow for proper long lasting and faultless operation.
When installing a Centurion D20 Smart sliding gate motor on big, heavy steel sliding gates, one is forced to use steel gate rails.
The steel gate rails will need to be welded into position, at least 500mm spacing intervals.
The steel brackets should be strong enough to prevent distortion of the gate rail as very strong loads will be applied by the gate motor onto the steel gate rail system.
The start up sections will have to be supported with more steel brackets as the most force is used on start up events of a steel sliding gate.
Programming of the Centurion D20 Smart sliding gate motor and remote transmitters are done via the MyCentsys app which is downloaded on the app store free of charge.
The Centurion D20 Smart sliding gate motor has a top speed of only 18 meters per minute, thus it is not the quickest sliding gate motor in its size.
The Centurion D20 sliding gate motor operates off 2x 12 volt 7 amp lead acid batteries.
One can use 2x 12 volt 7 amp gel batteries if needed.
The Centurion D20 Smart gate motors do have inputs and outputs which can be configured to assist in the clients needs.
Thus external equipment can be connected to the gate motor to assist with operation.
This includes infra red gate beam systems as well as different remote transmitter systems.
The gate motor can also be configured to activate outputs when tamper conditions do arise “like someone tampering with the gate motor in order to gain unauthorized access to a property or a attempted theft event”
The Centurion D20 Smart gate motor controller card does not have any buttons present which assists with programming or activation of the gate motor. Thus activating the gate motor is only done via programmed remote transmitters and administrator users via Bluetooth.
Make sure, that you as a client, is the only administrators listed on the Smart gate motor controller card.
