Hi, after watching your video, I want to share that my wife and I visited 10-11 countries, and we always travel in this way only, prepare itinerary ourselves, budgeted one and do a lot of research and hard work, always save cost as possible. Our traveling is quite similar. Surprisingly, our trolly bag is also same....😂😊😊
No one can guarantee Northern lights , ideally season starts late august. So keep enough days with you to chase Northern lights. Hope you get to see them soon🙂
@ Ideally Northern lights are visible starting September, but since it’s a natural phenomenon so nothing can be guaranteed. Best option is to stay at-least 4 to 5 days in Aurora zone and increase your chances of seeing lights.
Love to see your tour guidance. We are above 60+ and like to travel to follow your itinerary. We would be happy if you share the accommodation address including Airbnb & hotel in all places. God bless you.

Awesome video, Quick question : For 15 nights/16 days: Is it good to include Oslo, Flam or Bergen? I'm thinking of - 2 Days in Copenhagen, 2 days in Stockholm, 2 Days in Oslo, 1-1 Day in Flam and Bergen, 3 days in Tromsø, 2 days in Rovaniemi and 2 days in Helsinki and 16th Departure Please suggest :)
This plan is also good. If u are planning for 16 days considering 2 days for travelling, you are left with 14 days. As i said in the video as well, if u are planning winter vacation for Northern lights, my suggestion is have 5 days in Tromso. Rest based on your convince adjust among other countries. Avoid doing too many places in Norway in winters
Your video was really informative and helpful. I had two questions: 1. From where did you book your flight tickets? 2. The 2L budget that you've mentioned is for per person, i.e. 4L total, or 2L for both of you?
Hi, I’m planning a trip to Tromsø in January/February 2025. During my research, I read that the Northern Lights are best viewed on nights with no moon. Could you clarify if this is accurate? Will the moon's presence affect the visibility of the Northern Lights?
I guess yes ,no moon night may have better display of Auroras. But not necessarily you need to be there on same dates as its not possible when planning from India, but try to go in seasons which offer more chances of spotting them
Hello, thanks for an amazing video. I have a question, we are planning a june summer trip to Norway and planning to cover Norway, Sweden, Denmark. Can i apply for Norway visa If i want to enter via Denmark? Or my visa should be the same as my entry port?
We applied for visa around 1.5 months before. For that we did flight bookings, but we didnt booked any internal travels, hotels we booked with pay later options. We got our visa in 2 working days. After that we booked internal travels wherever required and if we got any better deal with hotels we switched those. So I think if u start 2 months before it’s enough.

Very beautiful and informative .... I am planning for October 25... Initially planning stockhome -- Abisko and stay Abisko for 2 days then go to Tromso .. Is October problematic for Bus route ?
Hi, I am visiting Tromso in last week of October. Can you please let me know which agency/website you chose to book night tour to witness Northern lights
As I mentioned in video as well, i booked tour through company chasing lights, tromso. Their big bus tour price is starting 1200 NOK which is approx 9000 INR. You can check their website for booking
Is december first week going to be too much cold ? Ppl were trsveling with their kids? Mine is 5 years old and rent a car option is available and feasible?
If you want to see Northern lights, yes it's good. But see it's totally dark over there due to polar nights. So you need to be prepared for that, you need to be careful while driving , depends how much experience you have of driving in snowy landscapes. Anything is manageable off -course, however we need to be cautious of such weather conditions. Thats why I personally choose March, since we got good amount of daylight along with Auroras opportunities Hope you plan your travel soon !! Happy to help
its better to book once u reach there since u dont know about weather specially snow at the time of booking. Only Northern lights tour I pre booked, from company chasinglights
Planning to visit Denmark swedan, norway and finlan then after that Baltic countries our entry point Denmark and exit from Poland can you please make itinerary for 25 days only
I think self drive is great way to explore tromso and near by islands. If you are planning for winters then its better to have some experience for driving on snowy roads. For summers i think you wont have any problem. Also you have to be comfortable driving with European rules, if you are from Non EU country.
Northern lights is never a guarantee, after all it's a natural phenomenon. But usually months between September- March are good. Best you can do is keep atleast 5 days when in Tromso, and I would recommend booking tours since they can drive you all the way to another country also, if weather not good at one place. Also one thing I came to know from our tour operators, once you are in tromso ( best place in world to see Auroras) , checking KP index is of no use and is not needed also but yeah all you need is no cloud day. Hope you plan your travel soon !! Happy to help
