Denver is the only team they have to take of. As we saw last season, they are beatable. They just need to be coached better. I also think that the Olympics showed that LeBron and AD are still performing at high levels, so their confidence will be up heading into the season.

This is the problem with this show. Perk says the Lakers couldnt stop Murray when he didnt even play that well. He was well below his regular season avgs. MPJ was the xfactor who hits his shots when playing the Lakers. Everyone just sits there and nobody even corrects him.
He’s currently taking up to roster spots on that team that’s preventing them from building anything. I mean I know he’s generous in his real life and I got a lot of respect for him for what he’s done for his childhood friend but at some point you gotta say OK maybe I should retire.
If he still plans on competing for a championship he’s wasting his time with the lakers he should retire this year

Him playing offensively like that at his age is incredible. On the same note, he doesn’t always play defense. Too many plays are being taken off on D. He also isn’t willing to really go the extra mile like Jordan or Kobe did. Kobe with a surgically repaired Achilles and two knees that were almost bone in bone dropped 60 in his last game. LBJ doesn’t have that dog in him.
Taking nothing away from his offensive production or his numbers. Ever hear anyone fear him like Jordan. He’s never said, “I’m defending him. I’ve got him, he won’t exist.”
Chase down blocks are great and they are highlight worthy. And his block on Iguadala saved the series, but that doesn’t excuse when Kuzma had to push him or when he stops to cry about a foul with the ref😊
