My final product is still sorta similar in spirit to the original but hopefully it represents kratos in an argent/doom franchise context. The theme is 100% his, and that’s where my head was at while writing.

Without the extra depth in these songs (like the choirs, adding distortions for emotional context, using power tools etc.) I don't think they would fall flat or anything like that, but I don't think they would hit as hard and have the soul that they do. I hope you're able to carry that through with future projects, because this Argent Metal can stick around as loong as it likes, imho!
Chances are that nobody’s gonna see this, but here’s some ideas i have anyways. I’d like to hear either the Gambit theme from Destiny 2, or *Long Live the King* from Destiny 1. They’re both a bit slower than the Doom soundtrack, but I think they’d feel really good in Argent Metal. I also think that the Ridley theme or Mother Brain theme from Super Metroid could be fun, seeing as they’re a bit bland and have a lot of synth elements. Finally- and I know this is weird, but.. I think a remaster of the Doom 3 theme in proper Argent would be cool. I know it’s already a part of Doom, and Mick already kinda redid it in Harbinger from Doom 2016, but I think you’d make it sound truly amazing. Uh, anyways, that’s all. This is actually pretty sweet. I could imagine this both playing in doom 2016, doom eternal, and just about any god of war boss fights. It also kinda sounds like what might play on those after the final boss missions where you’re being swarmed by countless enemies and you’ve just got to survive through a timer for a portal to open or someone to pick you up so you can just barley escape before everything around you explodes into glorious fire and blood as mist

The GOW soundtrack is immediately recognised wherever and whenever it's played. It's too iconic, and too beautiful. The game is beautiful. And you literally can feel how that old bastard is feeling at that exact moment.
God of War always had fantastic music as of a result of mixing orchestra with aggression. It’s a great combination that you rarely see in properties outside games since films, plays, etc have a different focus. Awesome combo here of Doom and GoW.

Big synth also really tracks with classic Doom music, which I very much enjoy hearing all the way through to remixes like this
