Thanks for sharing your second half of your amazing journey! I was looking forward to it! It's interesting to see the difference in the trail conditions from now compared to your start.

Glad you are back on trail. I’m getting caught up on these videos. Work has been crazy lately.

Nice video as always. I just wrapped up 90 miles on the SHT and those flat stretches out of Pine sure look appealing!

I’m considering the SHT next fall. Did you enjoy it?

@@jonallenoutside yes, I love that trail, especially north of 301. To be sure, it feels very challenging at times, one is often walking on tree roots, rocks or through mud and some of the ascents/descents feel more like bouldering than hiking. All campsites have a latrine and campfire ring and many are right on bodies of water. I appreciate the good shuttling options and reasonable drive from the Madison area.

    Nice update. Thanks.
    Seen any snakes out there?

No. I’m the only person I know who didn’t see a single rattlesnake on the AZT.

Great videos and narration! What month did you start in the Spring & what month was your part II start? Avoiding the AZ heat can be a challenge, but then again the higher elevations can and do get amazing snowfall in the winter months
