These things are hands down absolutely amazing! The noise cancellation feature is unreal! It blocks everything out. I got them yesterday and been playing with them all night (charged once) still haven’t gone to bed yet . I feel like a kid at Xmas lol. I really do. I’ve been waiting a long time to get these babies and got them for $150 directly from Bose . My old soundsport buds batteries would not hold a charge and they said send them in and I could get these for $150. Excellent customer service! They didn’t have to do that. My old ones were 4 yrs old and way past warranty. If you’re on the fence about getting a set of these don’t hesitate- get them! You will not regret it. You get what you pay for. I am super happy right now

I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and I have to say they are amazing! Noise cancellation level is perfect, fit is good, no problem of them falling out. Personally I have increased the base, just my preference listening to music🤪
Battery life is much better than AirPod’s owned previously. I’m getting used to the touch controls.
The app is very helpful for setting preferences. I’d definitely recommend 🤩

Hi … I’m a first time listener and I really appreciate this review because it is concise, detailed and honest about the good and the bad. I totally agree Bose should allow you to turn off the ANC! I walk a lot with earbuds and sometimes the wind noise is best suppressed by passive isolation not electronically. It also boggles the mind that Bose omitted so many other features … so maybe they are just being a bit arrogant thinking the sound and ANC are so good that we will buy them anyway! Maybe they are right 😊 ✌️👍

as per your review, very good sound and excellent ANC. contrary to your first impression on fit, mine fit me right out of the box and they are very comfortable even after wearing them for hours. so far, some difficulty getting them to connect and using the app to make changes from my iPhone. got them on sale for $170.00 since my old sound sport headphones died, so for the price, i am happy. if i were going to pay $300, i would probably try the Sony buds for a few dollars more. i have heard that they sound really good and have a much better voice quality on online calls.

  • @TigerKittay
    @TigerKittay Рік тому +1

I wanted to get them eventually but waited for the price drop. Finally I got a pair for $249 this Thanksgiving week and your review is spot on. I have the Sony WH-1000XM4s, Sony Linkbuds S and Jaybird Vista 2 which I gave to my sister because the ANC was a joke though everything else was fine for me. Not having wireless charging at this price point is baffling and I doubt that can be fixed by a firmware update but the multi-point connection can be updated as well. In my experience Bose needs to widen their EQ from 3 bands to 5 bands just like the Sonys as I find myself wanting more ceiling for adjustments.

Thanks for the detailed and honest review … I also don’t get strategy off not being able to turn ANC off. When I walk with earbuds passive isolation is often the best solution to wind noise vs any type of electronic filtering. Also, the lack of other features implies Bose is arrogant thinking people will buy their buds just for the sound and ANC … maybe so but maybe not. 👍

I like the fins of the QC 1 better. I’ve tried to get used to the fit of the 2’s, but I keep feeling like I need to adjust them. I also find the sounds seems to be fuller with the originals.
I don’t care as much about the wireless charging, and with my healthcare provider discount, I got them for 214, but I’m still hesitant to keep them.
With the update, you CAN use either bud independently, and don’t need to keep the case partially open to keep it from cutting off the other, which is why I really wish I were keeping it.

Bose is super great in the basic functions, so why look for a hair in the soup? As I have already written, I find the heart rate measurement of the soundcore A40 100 times better than wireless charging or using only one earphone, but nobody mentions this function because Apple and Sony do not have it either. My impression is that Bose is primarily running off the strength of its ANC and premium reputation. I don't doubt the sound quality is very good as well but it seems as much of a regression as progression in too many areas. Perhaps some issues can be improved/fixed with future software updates but the removal of wireless charging in particular feels almost like an insult when it was offered on the previous model. The QC II won't be going on my purchase list but thank you for another great review, Andy! 👍

I want to buy a new True Wireless headphones, I had the first momentum from Sennheiser, but unfortunately they were often claimed until eventually left me and the warranty period, so unfortunately this brand never again.
I´am looking at quality sound (mostly soundcloud listening), comfortable wear, battery life, quality ANC, could you recommend me something?
What I was interested in are these new QC Bose 2 and Technics A60, which I have heard that they are very praised and neglected, I would take Sony immediately with my experience, unfortunately the XM4 is concerned about their Comfort and complains about long -term wear.

I'm really sad about this - Bose can't ride this noise cancellation train forever. Dr. Amar Bose would not be happy with such an expensive product failing so many checkboxes. I really like to support Bose as they are a unique, family company with passion for sound, owned by MIT and allegedly dedicated to researching and producing the best audio products on the market. But I don't think they are doing the market research part. If they were, they'd easily see that there are buds that sound just as good with more features for half the price.
I have the Bose Sport Earbuds now, and while I'm mostly happy with them, I think for a company that is supposed to pride itself on flagship products, they could do better. For earbuds that cost $150 and do not have any ANC is a joke. Admittedly the sound stage is quite amazing, but again.. lacking. Finicky touch controls, bad call quality and mediocre battery life. The fact that Bose wants $300 for the QCs is just insane.
Love you Bose and I hope you read this - please get back to what you used to do best... Innovating and making something different and new from the pack. That is what will sell. The new LG buds have a sanitizing case so the buds get cleaned everytime you put them in the case! Why can't Bose think of these innovations anymore?

Apparently the QC II buds are getting a single bud mode and an aptX Adaptive upgrade sometime in 2023 so at least there is that. I guess sound and ANC are top priority for most users so they delivered those two features and they did that incredibly well. It doesn’t mean we shouldn’t complain though… 😎

Bose frankly have nothing for them except ANC and Bose name, and lack too many basic functionalities today.
And I have this impression that Bose designs its products only for the Apple environment, while they do not have the advantages of the Apple earbuds linked to the H chip 🤔
In 2022, with a case and earbuds of this size, no wireless charging, just 6 hours per charge, no mono mode, impossible to deactivate ANC, no multipoint, no ADAPTIVE APTX or LDAC, and an astronomical price, 😳
The Airpods Pro 2 even if they are only 20% better than the previous ones will be the default choice for 90% of Apple users, and they still went from 4h30mn to 6h with ANC activated, volume management directly on the earbuds, and above all it's Apple.
In the Android world, Bose's proposal this year is difficult to justify against 1More, Soundcore, OnePlus Buds Pro, and other Sennheisers.
