As The Ven. has emphasized, teaching on KARMA is the single most important teaching in Buddhism! it is the fundamental but also the essence of Buddhism.Cause and Effect,Causality, Karmic Return,Causality, and the like whatsoever termed all pertain to the very Law.Karma is more than meaning "what is done will definitely result in the similar consequence".The law of Karma is a many unbelievable thing and sometimes said to be inconceivable. But I see The Ven. has delivered a excellent teachingl .
He is encouraging compassion, being thoughtful of ourselves and others and being aware that our actions can cause harm to ourselves and others. I think his words were very wise and sound very similar to how we think Jesus to have lived.
I completely agree with cause and effect being the most important teaching. Second to that, I firmly believe the First Noble Truth - life is suffering - to be the second most important, if not, definitely impermanence; everything in existence is changing and momentary.
The highest Buddhist view, that is Emptiness and Dependent Origination is only possibly establised with the base of The Law of Cause and Effect.I'm of opinion that those who understand Theory of Relativity can understand this Law better.Cause and effect, happiness and suffering, life and death just mention a few are in each pair interrelated and inseparable Buddhism asserts nothing is uncaused and nothing could occur without a reason.It,s.as simple that a good cause makes a good result.
now i have a question, how should i react when i see a evil-doer getting his own dose of suffering? shall i watch him burn in joy? or shall i pity him and feel bad for him?
Life for me is difficult becausei always think im doing right.. And if this is all cause and effect but we dont know the first cause... For me ... I think its all randomness and that there is no karma... Confused i guess.
Buddhists don't worship Buddha. Buddha never claimed to be more than a person. Most people say that Buddhists practice "self worship" if that'll help you get a better understanding. However, Buddhists don't even believe in "self", or that individuality exists. Not in a hippy dippy "we are all one" sense, but more so like how people are always changing both physically and mentally, and there's no constant thing in a being that you could even call a "self".
I agree, but, I don’t know much about Buddha, it says that he was teaching about peaceful humanity, but I didn’t hear that Buddha is the only way to salvation = eternal spiritual life after death. Was he teaching this type of salvation? If not, Jesus is the only way to salvation = eternal spiritual life after death. Jesus is the only mediator between the Creator and his creatures. Was Buddha a mediator between the Creator and the people?
look, the buddha and jesus teach the same thing now if you don't see that thats perfectly ok, just follow jesus its for people like you he came. if you dont get the buddha, dont worry about it. put your faith in jesus. it dosen't matter who gets you there, just get there
Stop listening to priests and old books, do some proper research and you'll find out that Jesus and the Buddha taught the same thing because the were enlightened by the same source... Peace
And even Jesus preached karma... he said we get the treasues of our hearts, some their reward on earth, forgive to be forgiven, all will stand and give account. There is truth everywhere, even in Buddha, who understood the kingdom was inside us, as did Christ. Let it confirm your faith.

I’m sure Buddha was more occupied with the purpose of flys and beings rather then the human construct law of karma, last time I checked lol
