What i love most about this version of Jason is he seems the most....human in this movie and not as robotic. His actions and presence had a lot more personality than other iterations. He seems legitimately pissed off lol. He even let the boxer get his licks in and responded to “take your best shot” with a punch of his own. He kicks the radio of these hooligans for no reason and the way he slaps the big guys hand away right before tossing him 10 feet. Jason is not for the bullshit tonight 😂
Fun fact: When Jason bursts through the wall, he seems really hyper and fast moving. According to Kane Hodder, the actor who plays Jason in the film, "When we were in Vancouver, we were shooting at the diner at 3AM where I break through the door," Hodder remembers. "I was outside alone getting ready for the shot, sitting on a bench, with the mask off. Just then, this stranger comes by and tries to steal it! I don't know if he knew the value of it, but he tried to make a getaway with my prized possession. I grabbed him, and he took a swing at me! So I punched him on the side of the head, and he went down so hard he hit his head on the curb. Then they called 'Action!' and I had to run inside and do my scene. When you watch that scene, you can tell something is wrong, because I am extra hyped up! When they called 'Cut,' I looked outside and the guy was gone."
If that is true then not only is this a great seen but that is some of the funniest shit I ever heard in my life I'm literally rolling 😆😅😂 as I'm scrolling down reading this😂🤣💀💀💀
It's even funnier how all the people just get up and file out of the restaurant peacefully, as if no panic (like "oh, it's just another New York creep only this one wears a hockey mask) And the cook kinda reminds me of the blue checkmark "verified nobodies' on twitter, who all think they're tough shit...
Actually Ken had his revenge phase in Freddy V Jason. Ken was going to play Jason in this film entirely because he had auditioned and got the job but Kane begged to play Jason again and then they chose him again.
Kane deserved that role. And I thought Ken Kirzinger SUCKED. Too robotic. In fact, Hodder would have played the role if discussions between Paramount and New Line had worked out in the 80's. After Friday the 13th Part 6, both studios wanted to make a Jason/Freddy crossover. But the talks feel through and we got Part 7, which was basically Jason vs. Carrie.
He goes after anyone who trespasses on Crystal Lake and anyone who gets in his way or aggravates him, that's how he normally operates, hence him going after those two.
0:39 is the most badass move that Jason ever done to a guy who was bigger than him...my favorite part of all and I’d done the same thing...GET THE F OUT OF MY WAY!
@@arkon6964 you are right. He is a living zombie. He drowned years ago and became a zombie there after. Thats why he keeps coming back. Unless you cut off his head.
TRIVIA FACT about Friday the 13th movies series, they almost never featured any real teen kids under 18 in the movies being stalked or killed by Jason, they were always adults 18 and over and mostly in the 20's playing as teen kids just like this one Part 8 Jason takes Manhattan. That throws realism out the door, you can clearly see Jensen Daggett who played as Rennie was a big ass fully grown 19 or 20 year old woman and her older boyfriend, and all the other so called kids are adults, yet the older adults in all these movies treat them and call them kids as if they all don't know what adulthood is.
I find it odd that the cook was played by Ken Kerzinger considering that he would later play Jason in Freddy vs Jason! That said i find it funny that Jason grabs the cook and throws him when he tries to confront him considering that Jason in this movie's played by Kane Hodder whereas the cook is played by Ken Kirzinger! So it's a Jason vs Jason fight considering that those two are Jason actors!
I didn't notice this b4 look at the bloke whom came with the blonde girl He spoke first.. Look at his eyes.. They are tired and for some reason he's chewing.. Chewing gum?
Kane Hodder's reaction after he heard Ken Kerzinger is cast as Jason Voorhees for FvJ. Ken tries to roughly escort Kane out but it didnt go well for Ken.
You know ...if the movie was titled Jason takes South Carolina and instead of a diner he busted in through a Waffle House like that, Jason would have been sawed in half by a hail of gun fire by at least 25% of the customers LOL!
Jason throws Jason against the mirror.
@Phillip Bucher thats bcs he played as him
@Phillip Bucher he played as Jason too after Kane Hodder retired, in the movie Freddy vs Jason
@@hyugaotq nah why would he retire lol.
He didn't retire, he was replaced. Kane Hodder went on to do Hatchet.
WAIT how is that man that was thrown is Jason he doesn’t even look nothing like the original Jason voorhees
0:39 Jason's like "man, fuck you!! Get outta my way!!" 😂😂😂
And then he walks slowly by, admiring his handiwork on the guy! 😂

😆😆🤣🤣💀💀No Sir he just wasn't having it!
Jason didn't seem pissed until he came to new york. I guess that long boat ride to NY set him off
@@blackknight3185 pissed off supernatural
Pfft. Kane Hodder is insanely overrated. CJ Graham and Richard Brooker are where it's at.
Jason was a machine not even new york could stop him
the stares and silence as the people watched Jason busted that door down😂😂😂
I'd probably be right there with them if I saw that! Thinking "oh shit..." lol
Eh... whatever... guy on pcp did the same thing last week.

Also another fun fact, the person (ken kirzinger) who got killed by Jason would end up replacing hodder in freddy vs jason

I love this Scene!
It's awesome how he tosses the Gorilla like he was nothing.

That's what happens when you take Kane Hodder's role 14 years in the future.

more like "Dont do stupid things bitch...or you going to be next...yeah...good girl...stay"

Jason very strong. He was able to lift a 275 lb man and throw him 15 feet into a mirror.
Seriously, this movie should have won an Academy Award.
naw
The writing was bad
Jason vs Jason wasn't a very long fight
Chris Shra
That's because there is only one true Jason. Kane Hodder.
Also that was done in Hatchet 3! And Kane made short work of Derek Mears
@@halw.9011 I actually liked Mears as Jason.
But Hodder deserved to be the one to take on Freddy.
@@TheSBleeder agreed on both opinions 👍

Funfact: the guy who was trying to stop jason was actually jason from freddy vs jason
Kane Hodder vs Ken Kirzinger... Early revenge
Actually Ken had his revenge phase in Freddy V Jason. Ken was going to play Jason in this film entirely because he had auditioned and got the job but Kane begged to play Jason again and then they chose him again.
The best part was Kane Hodder throwing Ken as a message saying I am the true Jason and SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN FREDDY VS JASON!!!
Kane deserved that role. And I thought Ken Kirzinger SUCKED. Too robotic.
In fact, Hodder would have played the role if discussions between Paramount and New Line had worked out in the 80's.

0:38 fun fact that guy is the same actor who played Jason in freddy vs Jason 14 years later in 2003
Yep
Its weird how jason ignores the other civilians while chasing after the other 2 people he failed to kill

Scary strength. Zombie Jason.
Yeah, that’s when you need Ash Williams.
Jason wasn't playing no shit in this movie
Especially given how rare it is for Jason to encounter someone bigger than himself, but to still give no shits whatsoever
0:38 "You son of a bi-" *Dies*
Bar scenes in 80s New York were friggin intimidating.
I love how the TMNT movies and Ghost also depicted how intimidating New York could be back then.

Cory Warren that big guy played jason in freddy vs jason
