  • Fifty logs at the Sverresborg Trøndelag Folk Museum constitute the remains of Fløan Church, which is special for two reasons. First, it is one of only two partially preserved log timber churches from the Middle Ages in Norway. Second, for a short time, it was the church where Olav Haraldson was buried, the Viking who became a king and, after his death, the patron saint of Norway.
The timber has now been digitally documented and thoroughly dated!
