my favorite part of OTH was that writers never put haley and luke together, they kept it platonic brother and sister relationship. they never went the lazy route other shows have gone.

@@kellyallen6830 He was the less problematic character on the show for sure, but he was so condescending at times!!! He’s like every cliche cranky basketball coach and I couldn’t stand him no offence

"There's no way I'm ever gonna end up like you." That's true.. in the end, Nathan became such an amazing husband and father. He is great with Jamie. Who would have thought

The fact that Haley and Brooke become best friends still amazes me
I always thought it was funny that dan and Nathan thought it was embarrassing for Lucas not having a dad. I’d think it would be way more embarrassing for Dan having everyone know he’s a deadbeat loser of a dad
Totally agree. This video just makes Luke's mom look like a sweet lady & responsible, and it makes his Dad look like vermin for abandoning this poor lady & his own child.
@@karar7796 true, like its kids fault that coward of his dad left and its not embarrassing for a woman to raise a child alone at a really young age, i think thats actually inspiring .
That scene where Nathan played that video of Karen was gut wrenching.Despite his radical character evolution because of Haley,it’s kind of hard to forgive that one scene.That was just too fucked up for words.
I don't really get it? I feel like it really shows how badly this series has aged. Nothing shameful about being a single mum & being abandoned - if anything it's admirable how they manage on their own. But getting a woman pregnant & abandoning her & your child? Absolute scum. Nathan playing this just makes Luke's mom look like a saint & his dad look like absolute vermin.
@@karar7796 Ikr like when I watched it the first time I was kinda confused like I was expecting everyone to give the side eye to Nathan because of Dan you know but instead Lucas and his mom were the ones who got ridiculed? Like what 😐
The way Lucas shoulder checked Nathan into the wall. They grew so much!!!
This show takes me back to my teenage years and who's still watching in 2021
I'm binging whole 9 seasons of this every summer and it's the same great feeling and awesome feel good life journey every time...The rest of the year I watch people react to it...Yes I know I have issues :) lmao

that scene of keith and whitey in the car watching them play, "makes you wonder where they're all headed." makes me WEAP knowing just how much happens from that moment on, for the whole series. truly one of my favorite coming of age and turning into adults series out in the world.
I love this show I need to go ahead & rewatch it.
