My favourite part was when David Schwimmer excitingly screamed and jumped to celebrate his new apartment. An extraordinary and unrepeatable sitcom.
For me, that scene and the one where Ross finds out he got Rachel pregnant were the ones that absolutely let you know David Schwimmer is a Grade A superb comedian and actor.

I'm a big fan of when Joey and Rachel and Ross were trying to get a couch up the stairs and Ross kept yelling "PIVOT!" Also, when he wore the leather pants and called Joey from his date's bathroom to get advice on how to get the pants back up.

@Jackie Smalley I think trying to play being drunk is very difficult to get right without overdoing it. Ross in the Las Vegas scenes was very convincing.
The chemistry between the actors is what makes Friends so special. You can tell they were all truly great friends in real life.

@@belfast-g I agree that Matthew Perry's sarcasm was very funny. But the reason David has always been my favorite is because he doesn't even have to utter a word. David can be hilarious just with his expressions and mannerisms. I do think that the casting directors did a great job picking the six main characters. They work beautifully together. These actors and the excellent writing team make this the best sitcom ever.
The 'Ross's Sandwich' episode is not only really funny, it also highlights those days where you just get ridiculously upset over something relatively small going on b/c it was all you had to look forward to all day after a terrible day.
Someone ate the only good thing going on in my life..lol.

I noticed that when I was editing this video. It's weird because Joey is actually my favorite character but I just found a lot of Ross's moments to be so damn hilarious.
Ross by far has the best and most iconic scenes in the series which is why he is my favorite character. At first, I disliked his character due to the whinnyness of him in the earlier seasons, but then David Schwimmer who in my opinion was the better actor of the lot, performed so exquisiitively well that Ross eventually became my favorite. Followed closely by Chandler and Monica. Rachel is my least favorite, I found Jennifer Anistons performance not as good as the others and Rachel really brings nothing extra to the group other than just being eye candy for men

David Schwimmer played the hell out of that role. Ross has always been my favorite character. A lot of the funniest and most memorable moments of the entire show centered around or involved Ross.

It's awful hearing of Matthew Perry's death. He created Chandler to be funny and make people laugh, but some of his scenes, like when he says, Well I guess I'll be the one who dies first, after breaking Monica's plates, hit different. It's just incredibly sad. I'm sure I'll find Chandler's scenes funny again, one day.
I usually watch Friends around bedtime every day. It took me several days after he died to begin watching again. It’s not like he was a personal friend of mine, but I guess we all come to rely on certain television shows like comfort food, and Friends has been that for me. I reacted somewhat this way when Bob Saget died - I think we don’t understand how connected we are to certain actors and/or the characters they played until we lose them, and realize that a light in our lives has gone out.
I get you. Watch Babalyon 5 is tough knowing how many have passed away.

The whole bag pipe scene is epic, & phoebe, squealing along while Rachel is trying to contain her laughter, and Chandler‘s face just is the icing on the cake. I just could not stop laughing. I had to watch it again and again! The show will live on forever! Just started rewatching the show and Ross is the funniest by far. Pivot, I laughed so hard. But when Rachel said Salmon Skin Roll, that simple line was brilliant. Ross is just so earnest, he got the best lines for sure!

I always thought Chandler was the funniest in the beginning but Ross was the funniest one overall, especially as the later seasons went on. Who could forget the teeth whitening, the sweaty leather pants, the spray tan gone wrong, the bagpipes, unagi, the couch- PIVOT!, and the keyboards? Plus David was the best physical comedian and also the best actor. When Ben is born, the first breakup with Rachel, when he can’t connect with Mike, when he finds out about Joey and Rachel, when Rachel leaves without saying goodbye… I can go on and on forever. He’s the absolute best and yet is the one that gets shat on the most

I totally agree, I started off thinking Chandler was the funniest as well but I think what changed was my maturity. I was 7 yrs old to 17 years old when the show was on TV. Chandler I think is the obvious in your face type of funny, where as with Ross it's more all-encompassing and comprehensive (the predicament he is in, his expressions, his comedic timing, his sarcasm, etc.) which makes him the actual funniest of them all.
He’s also given the most to play off of while Chandler is the one who improvises the most and writes the majority of his lines and some of the other characters lines in the moment as well.

Many think that David's portrayal of Ross is boring. But when we look at the funniest scenes of Friends its always about Ross. David is such a good actor.
Back in the 90s my favorite characters were Rachel and Chandler. I wanted to look like Rachel, and I use sarcasm a lot (I will say in real life, sarcasm is VERY subjective, many many people don't like that in others and if we knew Chandler in real life, most would probably think he's a jerk).
Now after decades Joey and Phoebe are my favorites. They are both sweet and good-hearted people I would genuinely like to be around. I didn't like ross much at all back then, but now I find him hilarious
