The Byakugan sounds like it's fairly balanced but the Sharingan and Rinnigan were buffed to the point where they are unnecessarily broken. This is one of the biggest examples of flawed writing.
Right, that’s how it should be, a doujutsu should just be another tool used to slightly enchance the user’s already established abilities. Don’t get me wrong, the sharingan and Rinnegan are cool, but they’re too overpowered. It got to the point in Naruto that if a character has the sharingan or Rinnegan, they are automatically overpowered, and only a few characters can compete. It also makes those characters achieve abilities without even putting in work. This is why I like Rock Lee and Might Guy, because they don’t have op eyes that can damn near make you a god. I also respect the Hyuga clan, because even if they have an advantage with the Byakugan against regular ninjas, it’s at least balanced and not broken like you said.

It sees Chakra better than sharingan. And technically it can see slow motion. Neji could see Lee in gates. Naruto outpacing Neji Was retconning Aka plot armor. Sharingan was balanced. Before mangekyou Rinnegan would have been if it would just give all elements and sight. Byackugan can see through genjutsu And has been inconsistent wether it can see through mangekyou Ao could mukai couldn't. The byackugan didn't need all the extra crap sharingan got. One eye with hax is bad enouph
Byakugan deserves more screen adaptation & kishimoto can still reveal new secrets of Byakugan, it's only his imagination right?so he can do whatever he want 🥺
