I have failed way too many times at trying to be my own boss but willing to give it a shot again this coming year and only want to thank you for your encouragement to keep going and reach for the stars.
Just took your advice and started running ads in November - usually my biggest month of sales was for Halloween items - no sales after that. After running ads I have had more ads and sales since launching this site 2 years ago. Great advice - thanks!

i have been running etsy ads everyday/$10 for past 2 weeks and i have been getting traffic but not sales.
If you're getting traffic and not sales, you have a conversion rate issue and need to figure out why people aren't buying. Typically, that comes down to title, photos, and description

If I do all three things you just mentioned, what percentage would you say based on your experience the success rate of traffic turn to sales as a result of this strategy?
It’s hard to say as a lot has to do with your niche and what type of demand your products have. Its starts with finding good niche with good demand

I have been running etsy ads and have 27 sales but no profit. I just opened in October. I have a digital store so i had to raise my price but still no profit and hardly any traffic. When i turn the ads off i get no traffic. I market on Facebook but still nothing. What should i do? I get a lot of favorites on a lot of my items.

do you mean ads on sm networks or "organic" traffic from those networks?
Organic traffic
There's nothing wrong with adding in social media, but it should be the last thing you add in to the mix AFTER you've maximized all of the on platform sources.
