you rock, i've been waiting for someone to make something like this for a while...it's inspirational to watch through Scout's eyes what the heavybot does to him, is there a possibility that you could make something similar to this, same thing you had done, but have us see it through the heavybot's point of view, or Heavy's either one will work I truly loved this, I pretty much followed Scout's acting, it was just that awesome
Awesome small action video here. The animation is well designed and the shots look well balanced. Needless to say I enjoyed the shifting shifting perspectives from the Scout, robot Heavy, and a third person overview. Awesome stuff in this smaller package that does pack a punch with a well designed video.
I stand by my word, this was my favorite entry of the Saxxy Season. Chinatown Getaway was fantastic, but I think it wasn't as smooth and as well put together as this. There's a lot of moments that seem abrupt and don't transition well in the other one, but this is seamless. Plus the sounds and music used is wayyy better in this than in Chinatown Getaway.
Well done, the animation was just BEAUTIFUL and the sound mixed perfectly, I just wish the blu heavy got a chance to do more, and help the scout get the giant robot heavy the serious beat-down he deserved
Looks like even one animator finally realized that robots haves damn much power. But, the scout would be dead in 8 seconds starting at: 0:23 Thank you.
Found saxxy, 1:53, to the right of scout is a pile of boxes, the first cardboard box held at an angle is being perched up by a saxxy with its top facing the panning camera, you can only see its shoulder and head top but it is there.
The bit with the Roboheavy bashing the Heavy's head in, the only sound the ominous whirring of the arm as it punches repeatedly with the Scout's panicked breathing... fucking messed up, man.
Just it your self in that situation (not physically) just imagine how sad and scary that would be, if you have a good imagination you will see what I mean!!!
They're automatically turned on for each video I upload. I'll have to look further into this. Is it referring to ads directly placed in the video? or anything at all. hrmmm
Great animation, but one question that's totally unrelated... What's up with animators giving scouts Windowmakers? (Or Widowmakers, whatever they're called, haven't played in forever)
It's a cool idea, good sound track of choice too. I think you could improve just slightly on some of the animation. And i think maybe a longer video perhaps?

Find the one titled 'Hard hitting industrial/orcestral hybrid, great for combat scenes' That's the one that was used... I don't know any other way to find it... because if I did, I would be so much happier.

Interesting look, very similar to the likes of Mirror's Edge. Definitely liked it, even though some parts were kinda slow...
