We greatly appreciate your presence, and want to thank you for letting us borrow a little bit of your time, letting us into a little bit of your space, and just letting us come in and do what we do, and that’s just talk! Hopefully we share something, drop a dyme or two that you can pick up, save in your piggy bank of life, and cash it in when the time is right, and it makes sense in your situation!
Hopefully your Easter Sunday was awesome, you were able to enjoy time with your family, but really embrace the reason for this particular season. The Question of the Day was influenced by the season, and was raised by Wallace, and he asked a few...lol One of his questions was can you tell me the story of Easter, and why we have it? Another was what does grace look like to you? What does His grace look like to us in our everyday life? And what does grace look like as you offer grace to others and being offered back to you? We would love to hear your thoughts on grace alone, even if you don't want to address Easter, grace is an everyday occurrence, so what does it mean to you, and look like for you?
In the explanation of grace and the meaning of Easter, please excuse our language
For today's episode, we talk about having to wear different mask in life, and the question is do you wear those masks for yourself, or do you wear those masks for them? I think we've all felt at times that we've had to wear different masks at at different times in life, but are they for yourself, to hide who you are, who you might have been or could still be, or are you wearing them so people don't view you a certain way, maybe as your truest self? Sometimes these masks are to make others comfortable, to hide your discomfort or to make situations lighter in the moment. Sometimes we wear these masks to break barriers to make future "moves," and help in making sure you're able to build around you. We even discuss how wearing these masks can simply be seen as reading the room, and acting accordingly. Would you consider this a skill, being a "sell out," not being yourself, or just learning to adapt? We really want to hear your thoughts on this, and what you think about having to wear those different masks. Have you found yourself wearing different masks, and realizing it in the moment? Did you feel weird when you caught yourself doing it, or was it a conscious decision to do so? Let's talk about it! And just to make it fun, if you read this description today, Friday, April 5th, tap in down in the comments, let me know you read it, and we'll get a classic Dropping Dymes t-shirt mailed out to you, so comment "I seen it" and drop your size, and we'll get in touch with you for your information. Let's just see.

The Urban translation of the Easter story was hilarious 😂. Wouldn’t expect anything less from Brandon.
I feel at some point in life we all wear a mask for different reasons. If you think of a mask in literal terms (for example a surgical mask) it is used to protect both the person wearing it and the people they come in contact with. So the figurative mask that we may wear from time to time would be for ourselves, as well as others.
