    • @LiquidErf
      @LiquidErf  3 роки тому

      Thanks for your comments. On an iPhone there is a screen record function built in. On Android you might need a stand alone screen record app.

    • @carlosprovyrivera8522
      @carlosprovyrivera8522 3 роки тому

      @@LiquidErf Thx for the quick reply!! Sincerely appreciated. Yes, I’m familiar with the screen record feature. So am I safe to assume you recorded yourself using a DSLR camera while at the same time running screen recorder on your phone placed on your OM4. And then later in post synced the two together picking and choosing which video recordings / clips to use either full or Picture in Picture? Do you edit in Final Cut Pro or keep it simple with something like iMovie? Thx again and keep up the excellent work!

    • @LiquidErf
      @LiquidErf  3 роки тому +2

      @@carlosprovyrivera8522 yes quite close, my typical workflow. Record main tutorial on Sony camera, whilst audio is recorded directly into premier pro using a rode lavelier mic. Screen recording the elements I need along the way on iPhone/om4. Camera footage and screen recordings are then imported and synced to the audio in premier - one touch sync is superb in premier. Audio is then enhanced before all the clips are chopped up and the voice audio for camera and screen recordings are silenced.

      It should be smooth - can you give me a bit more detail on what you mean? You can change the speed in the settings, but moving the gimbal itself is often better than the joystick. I'll move the joystick either to frame the shot before recording, or to move fast whilst recording.

      Thanks for your comment, appreciate you taking the time. follow these steps. attach the phone, turn on blue tooth. For first time use follow the instructions on screen to activate the gimbal, making sure you're connected to the internet, log in to the dji account on screen. you should connect automatically, if not there will be a drop down that asks you to connect - tap 'connect' - then 'pair' . If this doesn't work, long press these three buttons together - 'trigger' 'record' and 'm' you should then be able to pair. let me know how you get on.

    Thank you for very helpful video. While otherwise balanced, in Pano mode my DJI defaults to a significant tilt. When I switch to regular Photo, it snaps back to a perfect balance. Switch back to Pano and it tilts automatically again. Is this normal? It’s quite confusing why it would do this. And you can’t seem to manually adjust/correct the tilt one degree at a time when it is off like this. I find the need to repeatedly RE-balance this thing very cumbersome when trying to record on-the-go. Lastly, when you are taking the Pano shots, is your gimbal on a tripod? Very helpful video, thanks!

    Is this OM4 OK with a Moments lens and filter/adapter? Moments say the gimbal isn't strong enough but other UA-cam videos showing tests, say it's OK with the lighter anamorphic but not the wide lens. Have you any experience with an OM4 and lenses? Great video, thanks.

    • @LiquidErf

      I haven’t used that particular lens, I gave used others with a small counter balance screwed in and it was fine with the iPhone 11. I guess it will depend on the phone and lens weight combined, don’t forget to add the weight of the counter weights too.

    Hi, Thank you for this tutorial. Question about the zoom in & out button on the side if the gimble. When either zooming in our out the video seems to jump… is this because of lighting & its refocusing? Or does it seem to jump when it hits a dot on the magnification line?

      @@Jak259 The zoom button wont work - you'll need to use the iphones app to zoom instead. You're doing the right thing - try double clicking the trigger when in the iphone app - does it recentre? Also press and hold the trigger it should hold all three axis in place until you release. Think of it as the iphone video but with stabilisation from the gimbal - not all the functions will work but if these do then its working.
