The best thing is the Got2B in the yellow bottle. Keep rubbing it in as your slicking you’re edges and it’s pretty good. Make sure you tie it down.

I also hAve the black Got 2B but haven't used them together. They need to stop playing and try these products on all textures of hair and label the recommended textures, so we won't even touch that product. Nice review. You have to blowdry it a little on cool settings or get in front of the fan for a few minutes to allow it to set and she's right. Get the black top one, not the yellow. The yellow is basically a grease or pomeade. The black top is a true wax. Good luck! 👍

Fam, try using a little oil on your hair before using gel or edge control, something about alcohol based? water based? idk, I gave my edges a long break but I think the oil prevents flaking. If I can remember the murrays hates oil so you have to either really tack it and brush it in or do the oil after the gels or whatever you use 👑

We must have similar textures because most of these that I’ve tried, I had the same experience with. Eco styler is bomb as a wash and go. It’s not an edge holder, it’s a styling gel. A stylist told me that is why people have trouble with Eco holding edges. Jesus is Lord, if you don’t know Him as Savior, please live your life for Him! Amen!
I have 4c hair as well and EcoStyler doesn't work for me in its original condition. However, I do find it works better when you leave it open and let it get tacky and it leaves fewer flakes. But for my super hold I use this dehydrated EcoStyler with the She Is Bomb Collection Edge Control and apply it with an edge brush. Be sure to smooth it all in or it will flake or clump. BUT BABBYYYY my edges stay all day !!
I definitely agree about the Cantu and it was on a list for best edge control. I put that on my edges and not 5 minutes later my edges popped right back up!!!

I'd recommend as a dupe for the gorilla snot to use the maximum hold styling snot by creme of nature. I can't remember for sure if it flakes up but I'm pretty sure that when I used it, it didn't flake. And it HELD ON for dear life to my edges, I remember trying to brush em back after it had dried and I had to use some water just to get it to move and then it dried and went right back.

Lady, with the fact ECO has so many different kinds of gel. You'll usually need to find which one is best for your hair. I myself thought the green lid Eco would have worked too. As i saw that video as well. Nope, its the flaxseed and Castor Black lid Eco gel.

See I was the same way with feelings with the green eco gel, but I’ve realized with it I could do a natural ponytail with it and even edges! The trick to is wetting the desired area that you want to slick down then slap a handful of eco gel on it and boom! There goes a slick natural ponytail for 4c hair, it shows your curls and everything😍😍as it should !! Try it out !
I know this was a year ago, actually two now, happy new years, butttt the edge booster that you had in this video was the styling gel, the one that I see most used, and that i use myself, andddd that should work for 4c is the water-based pomade, which is very viscous unlike the styling gel. And Murray’s works for me as well but I have to use another with it to hold it down when it’s too hot outside. Then I just blow dry it on low because I don’t be having enough time to tie my edges down in the morning. 😉
4c ladies just for you, know you don’t need you edges laid. Your natural kinky coil edges are just as beautiful without being laid!!! You don’t need them laid because your untamed coils are prefect the way they are. Not saying don’t lay them but don’t feel insecure if they are not laid every hour of the day.

They have two kinds they have a regular hold that have a yellow lid and a maximum hold that have a black lid. The black lid holds like no other

I'd recommend as a dupe for the gorilla snot to use the maximum hold styling snot by creme of nature. I can't remember for sure if it flakes up but I'm pretty sure that when I used it, it didn't flake. And it HELD ON for dear life to my edges, I remember trying to brush em back after it had dried and I had to use some water just to get it to move and then it dried and went right back.
This was very helpful. I also did a big chop and posted it on my channel but edges is not laying how I want it to lay.

Lady, with the fact ECO has so many different kinds of gel. You'll usually need to find which one is best for your hair. I myself thought the green lid Eco would have worked too. As i saw that video as well. Nope, its the flaxseed and Castor Black lid Eco gel.

On the gorilla snot you have to get the teal/blue bottle. That one doesn't leave any residue and it has a minty sent.

See I was the same way with feelings with the green eco gel, but I’ve realized with it I could do a natural ponytail with it and even edges! The trick to is wetting the desired area that you want to slick down then slap a handful of eco gel on it and boom! There goes a slick natural ponytail for 4c hair, it shows your curls and everything😍😍as it should !! Try it out !
I know this was a year ago, actually two now, happy new years, butttt the edge booster that you had in this video was the styling gel, the one that I see most used, and that i use myself, andddd that should work for 4c is the water-based pomade, which is very viscous unlike the styling gel. Second time watching this video!!
Yessss honey!!! It’s the gorilla snot for me. I love it ❤️ that’s my go to edge control. I use it every two days because it’s holds baby. And Murray’s works for me as well but I have to use another with it to hold it down when it’s too hot outside. Then I just blow dry it on low because I don’t be having enough time to tie my edges down in the morning. 😉

4c ladies just for you, know you don’t need you edges laid. Your natural kinky coil edges are just as beautiful without being laid!!! You don’t need them laid because your untamed coils are prefect the way they are. Not saying don’t lay them but don’t feel insecure if they are not laid every hour of the day.
